Andromeda Rooftop & Lounge Bar — Restaurant in Pune

So, Andromeda is a galaxy which I obviously wasn't knowing before visiting the place 😅 The interior thus is based on a galaxy theme. It's mesmerizing at the first glance. I liked the vibe of this place. The comfortable soft seating on the top will make you want to spend a good time with your friends and family.

What did we feast on! -Cocktails *Banarsi Paan *Italiyan Tea *Berries Punch *New York Sour *Brooklyn Cherish *Kiwi Margarita The drinks were really done well. Each one had a unique twist and taste. From the above my favorite were-

*Banarsi Paan A white rum based cocktail with pineapple juice and prominent taste of paan syrup. I'm a big fan of paans so I fell in love with this at the very first sip. It was refreshing for me.

*New York Sour A Whisky based cocktail topped with red wine and with a hint of maple syrup & lime. Lime got the needed sourness to the drink. The whisky and wine combination got quickly popular on the table. This one was good!

-Food Bar Bites *Crispy Okra with Mint Mayo This one was irresistible. Definitely no one can eat just one 😅 The sliced bhindi was well coated in besan and seasoned. It was deep fried and was crispy on each bite. The mint mayo gave it a refreshing touch.

*Sabudana Papad with Fruit Confit and Pineapple Cream This was a hakte dish we tried over the lunch. The pineapple cream was extremely smooth and rich. Overall, the ingredients were well complimenting each other.

*Papaya Kathi Roll, another hakte & unique roll I've ever tried. Ripped Papaya was thin sliced and was wrapped within a paratha bread and filled in with veggies & dips. I never imagined the ripped papaya would taste this good in a Kathi Roll.

Starters *Falafel with Mint Pesto, crispy falafel goes well with the mint pesto served with it.

*Peri - Peri Paneer Sliders *Prawns Cutlet Slider Paneer and prawns stuffed in mini burger buns. I really liked the paneer one. The paneer chunk was well marinated and grilled.

*Tandoori Paturi Macch, basa cooked in mustard sauce and steamed in a leaf. This was one flavorful dish. It was steamed to perfection and was very tasty. The basa was fresh and tender.

Mains *Nilgiri Pulav with Chicken Vindaloo, well seasoned Pulav served with a tempting chicken Vindaloo gravy. The gravy was just outstandingly yummy.

*Pasta with Mushroom Cream and Hollandaise, this creamy and rich pasta will just grow on your taste buds. I'm sure you'll like it more with each bite. With well cooked spaghetti, creamy mushroom and a smooth buttery sauce, it made a perfect and delightful main dish.

Desserts *Red Velvet Falooda, a delicious red velvet cake was served with a custard. The cake was a show stealer!

Had a horrific experience with this restaurant. You read this review, then decide if you want to enjoy your evening keeping your life in danger. The story seems straight out of Sanjay leela Bhansali movies, but we experienced this tragedy.

We had a college party where in 30+ students were in the praty.. The food was great and we were having great time. Little did we know what we were going to face. After the payment was made to the restaurant, the owner of the restaurant who was completely high on god knows what, comes with a bamboo stick and starts swaying it at anyone he finds. 7 of us were badly injured and our vehicles were damaged to high degrees. He was backed by his bodyguards, hence we college students couldn't do anything much there, we were helpless. We thought of taking legal actions against the restaurant. But the restaurant tries to negotiate with us by requesting us to not take any steps, they will compensate by exempting the bill for that day. Since we were in the verge of completion of our degree, we thought it is better to settle, than continue with legality. Since then, the owner out of the blue has to go to Goa, attend marriages, go to funerals, attend home functions and what not, and ignoring all the text messages sent to him and disconnecting the calls. Complete injustice and horrible experience..

Not a good place at all, too congested place, service is very very bad. When we called for booking they said no need to book come directly. Once we reached there they said we don’t have table right now. Then they provided one table after 10 mins. After 5 mins one of staff member came to us and asked us to empty the table. This is very embarrassing to us. They should learn some etiquette. Post that we waited for next 15 mins to get our seats. People have to go to counter and remind them about their orders. Order like simple tab water we got after one hour after several remainders. After several requests they cleaned up our table and provided tissue paper. This has not happened only with me people seating next to us also waited for long hours to get their order. If you go for package they don’t have menu card they will tell you verbally many options and end of serving not even half of them. Only one waiter is aware of that menu so you can’t asked other waiters for food and drinks options in packages. For package they will take the payment in advance, post payment they don’t bother about your food and service. No parking place you have to find a place for your car on road side.
