I recently had the pleasure of dining at Aubergine, a hidden gem nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of Viman Nagar in Pune. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the restaurant's charming ambiance and warm, inviting atmosphere.
The first thing that struck me was the impeccable service. The staff at Aubergine were attentive, friendly, and well-versed in the menu, making our dining experience truly exceptional. They were more than happy to recommend dishes and provide insightful information about the ingredients and preparation methods.
Each dish we ordered was a masterpiece in itself, beautifully presented and bursting with flavors.
For starters, we indulged in the Crispy Prawns with a tangy dip. The prawns were perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The accompanying dip added a delightful zing, complementing the seafood impeccably.
The Butter Chicken was rich and creamy, with just the right balance of spices. The tender chicken pieces practically melted in my mouth, and the naan was fresh and flavorful.
To end our meal on a sweet note, we savored their famous Chocolate Mousse. It was a velvety, decadent delight that satisfied our sweet cravings perfectly. The presentation was elegant, with a sprinkle of cocoa powder and a garnish of fresh berries, adding a touch of sophistication.
The ingredients used were fresh and of the highest quality, and the flavors were expertly balanced. The menu offers a wide selection for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, catering to diverse palates.
In terms of ambiance, the restaurant boasts a contemporary yet cozy setting. The tasteful decor, soft lighting, and comfortable seating create an intimate atmosphere, perfect for a romantic dinner or a gathering with friends and family.
In conclusion, Aubergine in Viman Nagar, Pune, is an absolute...
Read moreI have been there to for Sunday Brunch. I was surprised to see that they do not have starters There were two kind of veg soup, I took vegetarian cream soup it taste good. Since they do not have starters I took some salad in which I like egg and corn salad and it was delicious. In main course we only have two chicken and one fish gravy while all of them was veg gravies. Even in bread they have prepared naan and butter and we do not have choice apart from the one which was served. I took one chicken, paneer and cauliflower gravy which was okay In rice we have kashmiri pulao and steam rice which I took with dal makhani dal fry and chicken patiyal In desert they have decent number of sweets mostly indian one. I took dudhi halwa, pineapple tart, jalebi with rabdi, and other desert. Rabdi was thinking but taste ok.
They also had live counter section in which I ordered dai puri and noodles but noodles never reached my table. Not sure If the chef has forgotten.
Overall I saw there were people which I guess have came some exhibitions or conference or meeting but rarely seen outside person coming there for dinning. Also by 2.25 they have wrap up their main course.
It was okay and good with this experience would recommend once in a blue moon.
Even they were hesitating to give me bill giving weird reason but when I insisted...
Read moreI don't like to write negative reviews but when you pay for something you do expect it to be good or better than worst. But my recent experiences are compelling to write such . First of all the reception response is shocking.. some one called Moin wasn't even interested to answer for our "which side restaurant is" query We reached the restaurant and it was quite empty, just one more guests . The staff was lousy and lacked any interest in serving. We asked for a roti which took more than 15 minutes . The menu was limited and the staff wasn't ready to accommodate any requests. Soup was luke warm and had no taste . So was all the rest of the dishes. Only chikoo mouse was good. Bread ka mitha seems to be fried in some oil which had very bad smell .
Ambiance was horrible as not only the dining area was dull but more than the music which was playing in background there were loud sounds of fight from kitchen until I asked them if everything was on 😲🙄😠🤷 While returning I did asked on the reception why Lord Ganpati's idols are kept on the way to washroom to which he laughed and ignored 😠 All in all won't...
