BarBerry Kothrud — Restaurant in Pune

Barberry kothrud is second branch of FC ROAD Barberry lounge. Its located in ideal colony in lane front of durga. Parking on nearby lanes is easily obtained.

The seating arrangement is different with sofas and high chairs. There are multiple TV screens so live matches can be enjoyed. The restaurant is dimly lit. Walls are full of funny Quotes film dialogue etc. The ceiling is high and decorated with reverse colourful umbrellas.

Barberry has exciting offers on drinks such as happy hours all day. In the evening it gets packed.

We ordered tower of KF and below food items to go along with it.

Chicken chilli: Its such a basic item and most restaurants gets it right but that wasn't case here. Chicken was chewy and inedible. Had to finish it off somehow.

2.cheese chilly toast with garlic (extra) : cheese chilli toast with chopped garlic.

Chicken kolhapuri nanza: nanza is combination of naan and pizza. Flatbread of naan with toppings od onions and spicy chicken kolhapuri. This dish was good and i was happy with the chicken quality.

4.Chees garlic bread :Garlic bread stuffed with cheese

Service was quick and bith owner and manager were approachable and open to feedback.

They do charge service charge of 7 percent.

We've been quite regular to this place as it's near to my house as well as college, usually it's Chill has a good vibe too. Yesterday we faced a very upsetting experience when we were there, we ordered only 3 pints of beer and food and the waiter/Manger whoever he was comes and tells us to pay the bill while we were still finishing dinner me and 3 other of my friends literally still had more than half of the food on our plates because it had been barely 15 mins that they brought the rice. He tells us "jaldi Khao mai apke liye 12 logo ko nahi ruka sakta" this same dude asked us if we could shift tables after a smaller table was free to which we asked that it would be fine. Nor did he shift us on another table and then started to make us feel like he's doing a big favour serving us. Even later to this when we actually ate so fast 5 of us went outside and one friend was paying and coming the body gaurds started to tell us quite rudely to not stand there. They might not be wrong but there's a way to speak and rude behavior that too when we were not rude or anything was really disappointing I would possibly not want to go...

I have been a regular customer at Barberry for some time now, but I can no longer tolerate the consistently unfair treatment that I have received. Despite arriving early and being polite to the staff, I have been repeatedly given bad seating positions that are less desirable than those given to other guests who arrive after me. This has happened multiple times, and it is extremely frustrating.

It seems as though the staff are playing favorites, and I feel like I am being discriminated against for no apparent reason. I have tried to speak to the staff about this issue, but they have been dismissive and unhelpful.

I cannot recommend Barberry to anyone who wants to be treated fairly and respectfully. If you're looking for a place to relax and enjoy yourself without worrying about unfair treatment, I suggest you look elsewhere.
