Finally writing a review for Barve Dahivada – a place I’ve visited countless times but never got around to sharing my thoughts!
Let me clarify first – this is not a restaurant or hotel, but more of a casual spot for light and delicious Maharashtrian chaat. Perfect when you’re craving something flavorful but not too heavy.
Everything on the menu is worth trying, but my personal favorites are:
Dahi Vada – soft, melt-in-mouth vadas, creamy curd, and just the right amount of masala.
Dadape Pohe – fresh, flavorful, and has that comforting homemade touch.
Kothimbir Wadi – crispy, authentic, and packed with taste.
The place is usually crowded, which says a lot about its popularity – but the service is quick and the food is always fresh.

Both the dishes were tasty.. they serve many combinations of dahiwada which I'll try for sure in my next visit. 2 wheeler parking available in front of the shop but 4 wheeler parking is difficult to find. This place doesn't have seating so take away is advisable. The packaging with extra charge is worth the price.. Dadape pohe were perfectly crunchy and were having essential ingredients like coconut tomatos and onions. Dahi wada was soft and curd was perfectly sweet which reminded me the taste of Joshi dahiwada...
Read moreThe vadas are super soft and when had with dahi of perfect sweetness and consistency, just give you a total melt in mouth experience. They are so savoury because the phudina and meetha chutney is made to perfection. I am a person who will choose dahi vada rarely as a chat item but here I can eat them daily.
