From the moment we walked in, it was evident that this establishment prides itself on offering not just a meal, but a full-fledged dining experience. The staff’s hospitality was truly exceptional—warm, attentive, and effortlessly courteous. We were greeted with genuine smiles, and throughout our time there, they were always close enough to offer help without ever being intrusive. It’s rare to find such a perfectly balanced service team that knows the menu inside out and makes recommendations with such confidence and enthusiasm. It felt like being welcomed into someone's home, with all the elegance of fine dining.
Now, onto the food—the real star of the evening. Each dish felt carefully crafted, not just in terms of flavor but also in presentation and the thought behind the combinations. We started with the mushroom croquettes, which were a revelation. Crisp on the outside with a golden shell that shattered delicately under a fork, and inside, a creamy, earthy mushroom filling that was both comforting and rich. The flavors were deep and well-rounded—clearly made with a high-quality mushroom blend and finished with subtle seasoning that didn't overpower the hero ingredient.
The lemon and butter cream ravioli was, without exaggeration, one of the most exquisite pasta dishes I’ve ever tasted. The pasta was tender and clearly handmade—there was a noticeable difference in texture and freshness. The filling was delicate, and the lemon added a bright, zesty lift that cut through the richness of the butter cream sauce. The balance between acidity and creaminess was masterful, offering a dish that was indulgent yet refreshing. Every bite was a harmony of flavor, making it impossible not to savor slowly.
As we moved on to dessert, the salted caramel and chocolate mousse offered a perfect finale to an already spectacular meal. The mousse was luxuriously smooth with a deep cocoa intensity, contrasted by the caramel’s sticky sweetness and a nuanced touch of salt that heightened the flavors rather than simply adding a salty edge. The portion was just right—rich enough to satisfy a sweet tooth but not overwhelming. Presentation-wise, it was artful without being pretentious: a minimalist aesthetic that let the quality speak for itself.
What impressed me most, beyond the food and service, was the attention to ambience and detail. The lighting was warm and flattering, casting a golden hue across the tables, and the background music was thoughtfully curated—soft enough to allow conversation but atmospheric enough to enhance the experience. The interiors struck a balance between modern sophistication and cozy charm, with little touches like fresh flowers and artisanal crockery that elevated the whole setting.
To sum up, this place checks every box: outstanding service, inventive and impeccably executed dishes, a welcoming atmosphere, and a genuine sense of care in every detail. Whether you’re a dedicated foodie or just someone looking for a genuinely satisfying evening out, I wholeheartedly recommend this gem of a restaurant. I know for certain that I’ll be returning—and next time, I plan to try everything else...

Le Petit Amour is a hidden gem in Rahul Nagar, Kothrud, offering a delightful mix of global cuisines with a creative twist. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty meal or just want to explore unique flavors, this place has something for everyone.
The menu boasts an impressive variety, from European delicacies to Asian-inspired dishes, making it a paradise for food lovers. Some fan favorites include their gourmet sandwiches, pasta, and handcrafted desserts. The presentation of every dish is impeccable, and you can tell that a lot of effort goes into curating the menu.
We tried this place for a casual dinner and this is what we liked in particular:
Avocado Paradise – A beautifully plated dish that is as delicious as it is healthy. The creamy avocado paired with fresh, crunchy elements creates a balance of flavors and textures. It’s a light yet satisfying choice for those who appreciate fresh ingredients.
Porcini Crusted Chicken – A standout dish with a perfectly crisp crust made from aromatic porcini mushrooms. The chicken was tender and juicy, complemented by a rich, umami-packed sauce. Every bite was flavorful, making it a must-try for mushroom lovers.
Crumb Fried Chicken Sandwich – A classic done right! The sandwich was generously filled with crispy, golden-fried chicken, layered with fresh toppings and a well-balanced sauce. The bread was soft yet sturdy enough to hold everything together. Paired with a side of fries, it was a comforting and indulgent meal.
The ambience of Le Petit Amour is chic and contemporary, with warm lighting and stylish interiors that make it a great spot for casual meetups or date nights. While the place has a vibrant, youthful vibe, it’s also welcoming to families. Kids may not be the primary audience, but they do have options that can appeal to younger diners.
One major plus is the ample parking space available for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers, which is a rarity in Pune’s bustling café scene. This makes it an easy choice for those driving in.
Overall, if you enjoy eclectic flavors, a lively atmosphere, and beautifully plated dishes, Le Petit Amour is definitely...
Read moreWe have been here several times in past. Today also we were here.
The place charges premium rates and they also charge 5% service fee on top.
But over last 2 years, their service has so degraded that it doesn't exist anymore.
You see bunch of young people taking order but they appear to be pulling each other, hitting each other in front of customers. It's a small place so everything is noticable.
Today the guy who took our order, forgot to place one of the item. After waiting for 25 mins post our soup, finally we called the other waiter and he realised one of the 2 portion (Burrata) is missed. There was no pending order in kitchen, so each of them were looking at each other but no one came forward to ask till we called them.
After we placed our maincourse pasta, the first waiter came to serve the pasta but not even an word of apology from him for missing the order. Also when they are 2 people having pasta, you give 2 sets of cutlary not one. But we had to ask him for that as well.
Over and above that, the wooden ledge that runs from their counter till the entrance was full of dust and you sit next to it. When the fan runs overhead, it's very easy for the dust to settle on your food. Likely to be an infection risk so I asked other waiter to wipe the ledge clean.
In my last 4-5 visits, I have always had guests and I recommended the place to many. Today thankfully there were none.
The feedback I am sharing is what I heard from others too. You never the see the owner around or noticable as they have perhaps multiple properties in same campus. The chefs are seen walking out but never a smile or coming to your table to check if everything is okay.
When they have an international menu but services are almost non existing, should you visit this restaurant. I am done with them !
I used to run a restaurant in UK for 8yrs which had 100s of awards and recognition. I also frequent europe every month as I work there. These guys don't know what to deliver beyond food with such restaurants.
There are many more observations, but bottom line - they dont care so I am dining at their place. ! Hope those who are planning to visit them find...
