Bhoomi a wonderfully awesome name of the Restaurant I have recently visited. It's on the first floor wirh lift facility. If you find the lift is not working you can inform the Management of Restaurant who will start it for you. Bhoomi serves Veg and Non-Veg delicacies, however they have a limited menu consisting of unique and authentic dishes.
The Restaurant is run by Arya Kulkarni and his Sister Sayali Kulkarni. Interiors of the Restaurant shows their choice and taste. It's a eco-friendly facility, decorated with wood and hand made wall paintings. We were warmly received by Arya and his staff who also helped us with the menu.
As suggested by Arya we ordered Chicken Ghee Roast and Chicken Stew with Appam which were extremely mouthwatering. Also Sambharam (A slightly masala flavoured thick buttermilk) was amazingly refreshing. One could actually experience the freshness and flavours of the ingredients in the food. The food was served on banana leaves, again an eco-friendly gesture. We enjoyed the food and end up our food journey with excellent hot filter Coffee.
Overall it was a great experience. I will rate 10 out of 10 to this Restaurant for the taste, ambiance and cleanliness specially that of the handwash and washroom area. A great place in heart of Kothrud close to Yashwantrao Chavan Natyagruha. Thanks a lot Arya n Sayali for the great food and great hospitality experience. Wish you both and your team Bhoomi a great success ahead in all your future endeavors and projects. Keep going guys....planning to visit you soon once again...
Read moreVery Underrated place yet amazing food. If anyone looking for something different and interesting choices in food THIS IS THE PLACE to go. For a common people their menu might be difficult to understand but the owner will help you find something that is suitable for your taste. Let’s dive in for the food. I first tried their Lemongrass Lassi. I was trying it for the first time and I loved it. It’s way different than the normal lassi you get in Maharashtrian restaurants so don’t go with that mindset. Then I tried few things in appetizers. I tried ghee roast prawns, raw jackfruit cafreal, rawa fry suran. Without a doubt I am gonna order these again cause they are that good 🤤. Those prawns were just melting in the mouth. Definitely one of the best prawns I’ve ever tasted. Later I jumped on the main course and it didn’t disappoint. I tried stew chicken with idiyappam, green curry chicken with appam, and ghee roast paneer with appam. All 3 main courses were delicious and had their own unique flavors. Stews are must try in this amazing place, you can get them with appam, idiyappam, puttu, or rice… you won’t be disappointed at all. Everything is delicious. I was so full after having so many delicious dishes, but owner insisted to try their mysore pak. And it was cherry on top 🥹. It was worth ordering and great ending to the amazing dinner at the Bhoomi by Seeta Ki Rasoi. Please visit this place and go with open mind to try some authentic South Indian cuisine. I guarantee you will find something...
Read moreService : 23 mins for Chicken Ghee Roast on a weekday.. wheeeww .. Including the 2 of us, not even 10 people dining and still 23 mins.. what came first is the egg aapam that too on request..
Food : When u alrdy acknowledge that u served us late bcos u were busy catering an elderly couple known to u.. No worries.. this is ok but then serving Egg Appam with no Chutney/sauce or just anything.. Chalo ur place might not be serving but then u alrdy make someone wait and even after requesting nothing is served along with the Egg aapam was appalling.. The Egg aapam was missing the egg so much we finished it quickly... Next to come was Chicken Ghee roast.. Roast n Chicken were there.. Ghee went into hiding.. After being inducted into the Karnatak Coastal region and Ghee roast after Ghee roast definitely has dish here needs to see way too much Improvements.. Idiyampam was not cooked rather steamed and was chumpy Here n there... The owners might want to revisit Southern food tastes .. idiyaapam shud be nice n stringy n khula khula not like idli..
Needless to say we cancelled 1 appam that we ordered and stopped our emotions to order any stew or anything else from the menu
Yes we didn't bother speaking to the owner abt the experience as he didn't bother to respond to a request of 20 ml of Chutney/ Stew or even ketchup (sorry to multiple southern ancestors) He said thoda late ho gaya and...
