I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cafe Diamond Queen in Pune, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance. The cafe's interior is tastefully decorated, with comfortable seating and charming decor that sets the mood just right.

The menu at Cafe Diamond Queen is a treasure trove of culinary delights. Whether you're a coffee enthusiast or a foodie, this place has something for everyone. I tried their signature cappuccino, and it was expertly crafted, with rich, velvety foam and a perfect balance of flavors. For food, I couldn't resist their selection of sandwiches. The Veggie Delight sandwich was a standout, with fresh ingredients and a burst of flavors in every bite.

What truly sets Cafe Diamond Queen apart is the exceptional service. The staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about ensuring that every customer has a memorable experience. They are more than willing to recommend dishes and make adjustments to suit your preferences.

The cafe also offers a cozy outdoor seating area, which is perfect for enjoying Pune's pleasant weather. Whether you're looking for a place to relax with a book, catch up with friends, or have a business meeting, Cafe Diamond Queen provides the ideal setting.

In summary, Cafe Diamond Queen is a hidden gem in Pune, offering a combination of great food, top-notch coffee, and impeccable service. I highly recommend visiting this cafe if you're in the area. It's a true diamond among Pune's...

🌟 Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5) 🕒 Time: Evening snacks 👥 With: Friend (2 people) 💰 Cost: ₹200 total 🚗 Parking: Available

⸻

📝 Review:

Visited Diamond Cafe in Camp for a light evening snack. It’s a small, cozy spot perfect for quick bites and casual hangouts. The overall experience was decent and worth the price.

⸻

🍽️ What We Ordered: • Paneer Chilli Sandwich: A generous portion of grilled sandwich slices, filled with spicy paneer and cheese. It was perfectly toasted with visible chili flakes and seasoning. The sandwich was served with tomato ketchup sachets. Flavor-wise, it was tasty, not too spicy, and filling. • Chaha (Masala Tea): Strong, kadak chai with a comforting blend of spices. It was served hot in a cup and saucer. The quantity was decent and paired well with the snacks. • Puff Pastry: Fresh, warm, and flaky – a simple yet satisfying addition to the chai.

⸻

✅ Positives: • Good taste and fresh preparation • Reasonable pricing for the portion size • Parking available nearby (which is rare in Camp area) • Quick service • Ideal for short, casual tea breaks

⸻

⚠️ Could Be Better: • Ambience is very basic – nothing fancy • Cleanliness and presentation could be improved • Limited menu options if you’re looking for variety

⸻

🧾 Final Verdict:

If you’re in Camp and craving a budget-friendly snack with strong chai and spicy sandwich, Diamond Cafe is a good stop. Great for a relaxed, no-frills hangout. I would definitely recommend it for quick tea breaks or light...

Diamond Queen Resturant is one amongst the old Iranian timers. The cuisine is more on the Indian Moughlai style ( unlike George or Blue Nile which are typical Iranian style being bland and less spices) This place has maintained its old look and simple ambiance. An antique old house with sloping roof and wooden stairs. The kolhapuri dishes are really good as they don't get your stomach upset and yet spicy. May be because they just don't red chilli powder and chillies in the cuisine to get it spicy. Rather a proper spicy paste with beautiful colour to get it kolhapuri. In all these year's, it's an all time favourite place for a good moughlai meal. Feel , they need to improvise on service as that makes it a bit annoying. The waiter does down from the first floor family/ dining hall to bring the order's and one has to keep looking for him to return for any requirements. Rates are as per the market inflation but definitely the quantity does not justify it. Earlier the quantity was excellent. The family room can be done better and more comfortable for families. All in all, you need to definitely try this reputed old Dimond Queen Resturant and end your meal with the typical...

One of the oldest restaurant/cafe serving best irani chai and bun muska. It used to be one of my favourites but recently the taste of many of their basic items have changed. I have tried their chai, bunmaska, masala omlette, chicken kheema, mawa cake. I like the taste but it was a little bit heavy on pocket considering other restaurants in the vicinity serving the same food with the same authentic taste. Also if you are with family you have to sit on the 1st floor and the drawback of that is all the items are 10-20rs costlier than actual menu price. I just dont get the logic behind this and was disappointed. Another problem is the ground floor is filled with men so if you have ladies with you it might be uncomfortable to sit there also i don't think even the owner will allow that,so this was a big let down for me.I.havent tried any of their main course items as the price was on higher side. Kohinoor is still the best option i.e. affordable and better taste wise.

Diamond Queen is a heartbeat for few of the old Puneites. A place to have a soothing chit-chat with friends over a hot cup of tea. Since I was born I have been seeing this place over here. It should have been there even long before I was born I guess as it is there since 1930. Way before India got independence. I have been regular to this place since last 10 years and during these 10 years it has changed a bit in look, but the feel remains the same. These guys as known are good at non veg dishes. But I haven’t gone beyond Egg Biryani here. And it tastes good. But more frequent trips here are for tea and if we get time and place then we order the ‘khari’. These guys don’t believe in digital payments, so no Bhim no Google Pay and no Paytm. You can pay by cards but you need a bill of over ₹300 to do so. Rest all is done by hard cash. The chai is to die for. You should try it once before you die.
