Diamond Queen Resturant is one amongst the old Iranian timers. The cuisine is more on the Indian Moughlai style ( unlike George or Blue Nile which are typical Iranian style being bland and less spices) This place has maintained its old look and simple ambiance. An antique old house with sloping roof and wooden stairs. The kolhapuri dishes are really good as they don't get your stomach upset and yet spicy. May be because they just don't red chilli powder and chillies in the cuisine to get it spicy. Rather a proper spicy paste with beautiful colour to get it kolhapuri. In all these year's, it's an all time favourite place for a good moughlai meal. Feel , they need to improvise on service as that makes it a bit annoying.The waiter does down from the first floor family/ dining hall to bring the order's and one has to keep looking for him to return for any requirements. Rates are as per the market inflation but definitely the quantity does not justify it. Earlier the quantity was excellent. The family room can be done better and more comfortable for families.
