As a self-proclaimed coffee lover, I am always on the lookout for new cafes to try out. So, when I heard about Cafe Peter Pune, I knew I had to check it out. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for a treat. The place had a warm and welcoming vibe that instantly put me at ease. But, little did I know, that my visit to Cafe Peter Pune was going to be full of hilarious moments that I would never forget. Introduction to Cafe Peter Pune Cafe Peter Pune is a cozy little cafe located in the heart of the city. From the outside, it may look like just another coffee shop, but once you step inside, you'll be transported to a different world. The cafe has a rustic and charming decor that makes you feel like you're sitting in a European cafe. The cafe has comfortable seating options, ranging from cozy armchairs to bar stools, and the walls are adorned with beautiful paintings and photographs. The overall atmosphere of the cafe is relaxing and peaceful, making it the perfect place to unwind after a long day. Atmosphere and Decor of Cafe Peter Pune As I walked around the cafe, I couldn't help but notice the attention to detail that had gone into the decor. The walls were painted in warm earthy tones, and the furniture was made from natural wood. The lighting was just right, creating a cozy and intimate setting. One thing that caught my eye was the bookshelf that was stocked with books on art, music, and literature. It was a nice touch and added to the overall ambiance of the cafe. The cafe also had a small outdoor seating area, which was perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee on a sunny day. Menu and Food Quality at Cafe Peter Pune The menu at Cafe Peter Pune was impressive, to say the least. They had a wide variety of coffee and tea options, ranging from classic cappuccinos to exotic herbal teas. The food menu was equally diverse, with options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. I decided to try their signature dish, the Peter's Special Sandwich. And let me tell you, it was a game-changer. The sandwich was made with fresh ingredients and was bursting with flavor. The bread was toasted to perfection, and the filling had just the right amount of seasoning. Service and Staff at Cafe Peter Pune The staff at Cafe Peter Pune were friendly and welcoming. They were always ready to help and had a good knowledge of the menu. The service was prompt, and my food and drinks arrived quickly. One thing I appreciated was that the staff was attentive without being intrusive. They gave me space to enjoy my food and coffee, but were always there when I needed something. Overall, the service at Cafe Peter Pune was top-notch. My Personal Experience at Cafe Peter Pune I had a wonderful experience at Cafe Peter Pune. The cafe had a great atmosphere, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. But, what made my visit truly memorable were the hilarious moments that I experienced. As I was sipping my coffee, I noticed a group of people playing a game of Jenga. It looked like they were having a great time, so I decided to join in. Little did I know, I was in for a wild ride. During the game, one of the players accidentally knocked over the tower, and the entire thing came crashing down. It was a hilarious moment, and we all burst out laughing. But, the best part was when the cafe's cat jumped out of nowhere and started playing with the Jenga blocks. It was a sight to behold, and we all had a good laugh. The Hilarious Moments that Made My Visit Memorable Another hilarious moment that I experienced at Cafe Peter Pune was when I ordered a second cup of coffee. The barista accidentally spilled some coffee on my shirt, and we both burst out laughing. It was a small mishap, but it made our interaction more personal and lighthearted. The last hilarious moment that I experienced was when I was leaving the cafe. As I was walking out, I bumped into a group of people who were carrying a giant cake. They were struggling to get it through the door, and I...
Read moreJust a reminder note: they don't have dineout or any diner services, but they mostly won't tell you unless you're done paying for it. They made me pay via dineout for the Koregaon Park branch after I had asked them about the Dineout support. But funnily enough the KP branch had closed down temporarily. The cashier asked me to go collect it from the KP branch in-person post me pointing out the confusion but thankfully Google maps had the closed down status. Had to involve the swiggy customer service to sort the problem involving their resto chain and confusion. Was a pathetic experience from the cashier employee who either doesn't have a great clue about their services or was lowkey ignorant.
Food is mid to fine, have had a better English breakfast from smaller restos like Yolkshire, but the vibe is good.
Edit: Since the Cafe has replied questioning the reliability of my review, hereby attaching screenshots from the Swiggy help thread apologising for the Restaurant behaviour, escalating my issue to the back end team and refunding my lost money + the actual money paid for the meal which made my meal entirely free (which they really don't have to do if I'm at fault). This issue was sorted out from Swiggy's intervention and I would like to reiterate that when I specifically asked for the Dineout option to the employee they did not revoke me from going ahead and only on reverifying post payment for cash reception, did they point out the issue, after I raised the confusion. Bro my reliability isn't at question here - if you go through reviews below, you could find a lot more mentioning cockroaches and behaviour issues, even in the recent past - some even posting the picture of the cashier employee in question and mentioning service issues. So let me not meddle with that, I'm just talking about a singular experience I faced. This is Pune man, we have well and more reputed restos to go day in day out in comparison to yours, doesn't really matter if you're trying to shut down an...
Read moreSome times it's so confusing... You see good reviews and ambiance but the experience is exactly opposite. I was in viman nagar with my family for dinner, however there was no particular restaurant inn mind.. so shortlisted CafePeter Donuts as we were very near and could see good ambiance from outside. We headed in , my hubby was ordering food so I thought to relax on table but found it wasn't clean.. so was looking for someone to help out with this.. but no one was there. I went three times to the order desk and requested for the same. After 10 -15 minutes someone came to do it. I was not happy with it but somehow convinced my self that the food might compensate the experience. But it was completely over the moon expectation. Food was kept on table pretty late .. although pizza was OK but the paneer stake sizzler was absolutely disappointing. More over no forks were provided.. even upon asking no body gave us plates or forks. The barbecue sauce was nothing but sugar syrup.. just 2 tbsp of rice and few Julian's of veggies with potatoes. Even after asking the boys there they didn't turned back with any answers in fact told me it will be like this only. The guy in the pic saw me taking pics and offered me dessert for not writing review.. which was obviously denied. I wonder even after charging high why few restaurant don't take a pride to serve well and quality food ? Only one boy was running around the tables for service.. in entire restaurant. Why Can't even basic things shouldn't be taken care of? We left our plate and a known place to have our dinner.. Quite sad and frustrating it was, in both terms as we walked out hungry and had to pay double for our...
