Ordered cardamon tea. Cost ₹156. Served in 10 min. Tea Sommelier (expert in making tea) was busy doing many things besides simply preparing tea using premix in a programmed machine.He was wearing Blue glove to ensure the food and beverages are served hygienically. However, he picked the order receipts from the ground and put those in the trash can and forced down the can with the same glove hand. Then, he walked and picked a cup to pour tea into it, and opened a container and scooped 2 spoonfuls of cardamom powder from it into the cup. That's totally defeating the very purpose of wearing a glove. At the least, I hoped for a tastier tea after this. That was disappointing too. A special mention to Ms. Sejal, the store manager, who was extremely strict about checking product validity and expiry dates, she was not just ensuring compliance but was also actively educating the staff about the importance of using only fresh and safe ingredients. Pune Airport don't have branded outlets like KFC, CCD, Starbucks, Domino's, etc. But there is Chai Point. The outlet offer tea, coffee, burger, sandwiches, pattis, etc. The price of these were quite high as per the quality. I ordered Paneer Sandwich which looks amazing when you see that from the glass. But when you get it, it will be worst. The sandwich is not grilled. It is not warm enough. The filling is also disappointing. I got a total of 7 very small chunks of Paneer and lots of onions.
