This place is a must try place if you a North Indian food lover❤
The ambience was really nice. They have both indoor and outdoor seating area and have managed really well to life customers.
The inner seating is a casual dining are where you can sit with family and enjoy. The outer one is an open space which has dining options to enjoy the food in open air and with a view of the nearby road.
Now coming to the service the staff were very cooperative and friendly. Starting from the staff to the Manager everyone wore a smile on their face while serving food and interacting with customers. The food was served on time without any delay👍
My Starter Spread had :
➡ Tandoor ka Badshah (Full) : It was a dish of full chicken pieces marinated with yogurt spices cooked in tandoor. It also had yogurt in its presentation which made it look attractive 😍.
And now the taste, the dish was lip smacking 😙. It had strong chatpata or tangy flavour which I loved the most.
➡ Murg Makrana - This had 4 drumstick pieces marinated with yogurt, chilly and crushed black pepper and grilled. The pieces were perfectly grilled and had a nice flavour of the blended spices and tasted nice.
➡ Murg Dum Kebab - This was a dish full of cheese. It came in a bowl covered with a tandoori roti on the top.
Inside were boneless chicken keema pieces blended with some spices and cheese. It tasted yummy.
➡ Tandoori Jhinga Zafrani - King size Prawns marinated in herbs and green spices heated over charcoal. The yatse was great and prawns were cooked perfectly.
➡ Paneer Lazeez - Fresh cottage cheese marinated with yogurt, chilly and cooked in tandoor. At first bite you would feel the soft Paneer in your mouth 😍
➡ Stuffed Mushroom - Fresh mushrooms marinated with pickle, spices and cheese. The cheese complemented it nicely.
Tiny mushroom pieces cooked really well and not over heated. I loved this dish 🔥
➡ Lahori Seekh Hara Dhania - Tender tools of grinded lamb pieces mixed with different spices and grilled✌
Now coming to the main course spread which was really great😍
➡ Chicken Rogan Josh - Juicy pieces of chicken cooked in typical Indian style . The gravy was thin and tatsed average.
➡ Mutton Nalli Nihari - It had lamb slanks. The taste was good and had a perfect combination of herbs and spices.
➡ Chicken Lahori - A typical North Indian thich gravy dish which had tomato and onion gravy. The gravy tatsed a little tangy and was a little spicy.
The veg main course spread was also good. Loved their cooking and presentation style.
And now my fav Chicken Keema Paratha :Four sliced pieces of Paratha stuffed with Chicken keema . It's first time would surely melt your heart and force you to order again❤
And at last but not the least Dessert section . We had :
➡ Gulab Jamun ➡ Gulab Jamun with Rabdi ➡ Shahi Tukda ➡ Malai Kulfi
This section needs improvement in its preparation. The Gulab Jamuns tasted average and were a little hard. The Shahi Tukda tasted good.
It was indeed a nice experience with this place. Would surely drop down again for casual dining with my family...
Read moreI am surprised how this restaurant has so many 5 star reviews. I visited this restaurant based on the reviews but it turns out at the reviews given paint a totally different picture compared to the reality. I ordered a Chicken Paya Shorba to start with and it came with tiny lizard floating dead in it. I almost fell off the chair and called for the manager. The manager was rude and refused to admit it might be possible. After a lot of argument he decided to check it himself and discovered that it is indeed a lizard. The only thing he did after that was to ask one of his waiters to have it changed. I was still in a state of surprise and asked him to let me check out his kitchen. The manager insisted that it is against their policy to let me see the kitchen. After arguing again for another couple of minutes over that I have the right to inspect the kitchen he finally agreed to give me peek at his kitchen. To my surprise it is one of the filthiest kitchen I have come across and I was struck with another shock. The utensils along with the cutlery were being washed on the ground behind the restaurant amidst all dust and garbage. I highlighted to the manager that they don't seem to follow any of the hygiene standards laid down by the pmc but in vain. After having gone through all of this, it was ensured that I pay for the shorba. I paid the bill and simply left. I have taken a note of all the non-compliance and have submitted a complaint with the municipal corporation. I hope they take strict action and get these crooks to abide by rules. Ensure due diligence if you plan on...
Read moreFarmaaish is one of the best place for Mughlai Food. It's simple and calm vibe makes you wanna go there again.
Pros:
Cons:
I've been to Farmaaish twice and it has already made a space in my heart. The place is welcoming. Its not a quite large space but it offers three types of seating outdoor, semi-covered, and indoor seating. The interior is all Mughal themed with lanterns and lights.
What I had. 🔺Murg Paya Soup : The soup was made with fresh turmeric, garlic and black better. It had a nice smooth buttery consistency. The soup was a mild start to our feast. One soup is enough for 2 people.
🔺Murg Makrana: Four chicken drumsticks marinated in yougurt, red chilles , pepper corn and black pepper. The tandoori chicken was succulent and soft. It could've been a little bit spicer.
🔺Murg Dum Kebab : Boneless chicken was well marinated in different spices. It came in a dum pot. It had lots of cheese filled in. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. It just melted in my mouth. The combination of chicken and cheese at its best.
🔺Murg Mussalum : Just one word. Heaven 🔺Dum chicken biryani : This came inside a matka pot. Extremely delicious. Could've been more spicer.
Verdict : Faarmaish is a place to relish good Mughlai food with your family. Avoid going on weekends. Do try thier murg makarana.
