Haldiram's — Restaurant in Pune

Awful. Ordered Chole Bhatura. Got the order, it was utter disappointment. Cold, probably prepared earlier, warmed in Oven and served. It was thick and hard, it was over fermented with evidently sour taste..I tried to eat for basic respect for food..Went to counter and mentioned. They were kind enough to show me Customer Care no as Manager was out for some meeting. They then went on to make another plate. To my surprise..the texture of the stuff totally changed which made me sure that first one was warmed and served like cold stuff. The freshly made one was still awful, thick and sour. I wish I had ordered from the next counter of Indian Street Foods to Haldiram. It's a sheer mockery..brand name which is now being monetised..Worth zilch of value..A decent street vendor will serve better stuff. If taste is so, I doubt the basic essentials including hygiene as the batter was awfully over fermented..The black chana tasted abysmal to give company to a bad Bhatura.. I repent paying Rs 240/- for this piece of disaster.. and a very poor shop and management as well. I wish I had taken snaps of both the service. Attaching the photo so that someone reading this knows it isn't a fake review. And I honestly feel these people are flooding with fake reviews or there is no way this place can have 4.3 Stars !! A big joke overall in name of branded...

We ordered for a plate of pani puri, and it took them 20 minutes to serve us after several reminders during a weekday, which meant there was no rush at all. The staff working there are extremely unhygienic, the lady was moping the billing area at the same time the staff was filling trays with puris and chaat, the person who served me pani puri was not wearing gloves and filled my potato stuffing cup with his fingers which was disgusting. After asking him why he isn't wearing gloves, he was smiling and said I'll wear it now." The puris were also so soggy and stale. The boondi was pit with bare naked hands in the green water. Utter horrible experience. I will never visit and will not recommend this...

I recently ordered the Rajkachori and Sampurn Thali from Haldiram.

Sampurn Thali contains. 2 laccha paratha Jira Rice 1 Shahi Paneer 1 daal 1 mix Veg Pickle 1 sweet dish(rasgulla) Papad

Tissue paper, Mouth freshener, Salt. Pepper.

While the Raj kachori was delicious and well cooked, I was bit disappointed with portion of the vegetables and gravy of the vegetables of Thali.

The vegetables portion was less compare to the rice and Laccha paratha. On the positive side, the packing was good and well packed.

Overall, I would recommend Haldiram gor their Raj Kachori, but suggest they improve the portion of their vege in their...
