I recently had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant that transported me to the vibrant world of Marathi culture. The ambience was truly captivating, with its authentic Marathi decor and ambiance. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by traditional artwork, colorful textiles, and soothing background music that perfectly set the tone for an immersive dining experience.
The restaurant's attention to detail in creating an ambiance that reflected the rich heritage of Maharashtra was commendable. The rustic wooden furniture, intricate wall paintings, and traditional artifacts added a touch of elegance and warmth to the surroundings. It was a delight to dine in such an aesthetically pleasing environment.♥️ However, one aspect that fell short of my expectations was the portion sizes. While the taste was excellent, the quantity served was relatively small. I found myself wanting more after finishing each dish, which left me slightly unsatisfied. It would have been ideal if the portions were more generous to match the exceptional taste.
Despite the small portions, I must highlight the friendly and attentive service provided by the staff. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided recommendations based on personal preferences. The service added to the overall positive experience, creating a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere.
In conclusion, this restaurant offers a delightful experience with its authentic Marathi ambience and flavorful cuisine. The ambiance truly captures the essence of Maharashtra, transporting guests to a...

I've been to Wah Marathi at Amanora multiple times now, and it’s easily one of my go-to places when I’m craving straightforward, comforting Maharashtrian food without all the hotel-style masala drama.
My usual order:
Methi Bhaji – This is my regular. It’s simple, well-cooked, and genuinely tastes like something you’d get at home. Nothing fancy, just good food.
Puran Poli – Sweet, soft, and made well. It’s worth trying if you’re into traditional Maharashtrian desserts.
Masale Bhatt – Flavorful, spicy, and feels like a proper festive meal. It never disappoints.
I’ve also tried their Chicken Kala Rassa. Taste-wise, it’s really good – rich, dark, and hits the right spice notes. But heads up: the portion isn’t huge. If you’re someone who’s used to demolishing big non-veg plates, this might feel a bit small. It’s one of those quality-over-quantity dishes.
The place itself is clean, has a calm vibe, and the service is usually on point. Pricing is fair for the location and the type of food you’re getting.
Overall:
Great for a homestyle Maharashtrian meal
Good vegetarian options
Chicken Kala Rassa is worth trying, but don’t expect a massive portion

Read moreI am a regular customer at Wah Marathi and truly appreciate their warm hospitality and traditional home-style Maharashtrian meals. The waiter, Sachin and payal , are always very friendly, warm, and welcoming, which makes the dining experience even better.
A special mention to their head chef supervisor, Sandeep, along with chefs Shashi and Rupesh, who do an excellent job in customizing meals to make them healthy. Personally, I prefer home-cooked Maharashtrian meals that are oil-free and lightly spiced, and the team has done a great job in meeting those preferences.
Initially, I faced some challenges in getting my meals customized the way I wanted, but after speaking with Santosh, the main manager, who is both efficient and helpful, and also writing to the management, the issue was promptly resolved. Since then, I’ve been thoroughly enjoying my healthy, home-style meals at Wah Marathi.
My only suggestion would be to include more healthy dishes on the menu — especially green vegetables like palak, shepu, and other non-gravy-based sabzis that pair well with bhakari. At the moment, I enjoy their bhindi and methi dishes along with dal and rice, but I’d love to see more wholesome, green-based options in the future.
Overall, I am happy and satisfied, and I look forward to enjoying more healthy and gourmet Maharashtrian meals at...
