Guru Nanak Dairy And Sweets started out more than 25 years back as a dairy supplying daily milk and curd to the residents of Kalyani Nagar and the neighbourhood. They also stock butter, ghee, cheese, and the traditional Indian milk sweets like pedha, barfis, laddus, rashgullas, kaju katli, dry fruit, farsan, savoury snacks and much more. They then started keeping and serving breakfast items like samosa, kachori, idli, sandwiches and burgers to the students and office goers. Hot and cold drinks are also available. They have now opened another outlet in the next building where they serve pao bhaji, chole bhature, rajma rice, pulaos, Mumbai chaat, and snacks. They specialise in pao bhaji with different variations and options, with onion, with kaju, with paneer, with Jain masala, or without all these but with a generous dollop of butter, and the same applies to the pao. We frequent it for curd, taak, rasgulla and lassi. Lassi is pretty heavy and taak is refreshing. All products are prepared fresh and are best I have tasted so far in KalyaniNagar and Yerwada. Some items are pricey while others are priced well.

You can also place party orders here. For send-offs and parties we often get customised food items boxed together here and parcelled to office. Like samosa and kajukatli or bhajji and dhokla all can be stacked in neat boxes for all members.

Not just the tasty eatable items but one can also visit to take motivation in huge energy from Aunty who is unmissable at the cash counter. The stern comments are gloved in love and this is visible from the staff whos been at counter for many years now.

Recent additions of Maggie, Pav Bhaji stalls and seperate take away outlet just ahead is smart move. The Maggie serving stall perons love, smile, pours hesvily into the awesome taste of Maggie served. We had 1 for younger daughter, then 1 more as elder one liked it too, then 2 more as even we both couldnt resist the taste.

I only dream that this outlet transforms into a lovely restaurant for tasty snacks served piping hot.
