High Garden — Restaurant in Pune

Getting to the actual restaurant is a bit of challenge- it's at the end of a small lane, you have to find your parking in the basement on your own (no valet), and the elevator only takes up to to the 7th floor so you have to walk up to the rooftop. But after that, it's smooth sailing.

We went on a Sunday afternoon (group of 9). I had reserved the table earlier through Nihaar who was prompt with his communication. Everything right from the drinks to the main course was great. Service is prompt, and the rates are reasonable. There was just one more table occupied and I just had to raise my hand once and there was a server at my elbow. We ordered too many things for me to list here but no complaints about anything-quality and quantity both were perfect.This place would have even better ambience at night. They should have the mist sprinklers installed for the summer months, the entire restaurant has just two pedestal fans.

The other gripe I had was that they didn't let me pay the bill through my Zomato Gold membership (which would be 15% off on the entire bill and cashback). Instead they offered a 15% discount only on the food bill, with reason being that they had in-house offers going on for the bar menu. To be fair, this policy is displayed right at the entrance and I was I formed during the table booking too. The bigger issue was they didn't let me pay by card since I was given a compensatory discount. I had to pay by cash or by UPI.

But we all had such a lovely experience with the food, ambience and service that this inconvenience was forgotten. I will recommend this place for a family as well as a casual romantic dinner (especially at night since it has...

Perched on the rooftop at S.b.road where there is the wonderful place called High garden.It is a Diner cum bar specialising European,continental & Asian cuisine & bubbly,invigorating cocktails & drinks. Abhishek the manager gave a look at the places & also a peek into their culinary story & i instantly fathemed the precussor to the gastronomic delightful store. The vibe are very connecting,positive energy floating in the view from the rooftop is breathing taking; onto one side.You notice the neon light if JW Marriott & a row of houses nestled on yhe hilly terrain behind & on the other side,tall of greenery & occasional squak of peopocks intertwined with honkingof cars & bright city lights,signifying the hustle & bustle of a metropolis. Ambience & interior are rustic with sturdy furniture strewn in cluster and greenery garden all around. Dim lighting & cozy Ambience.Drinks as i mentioned are just brilliant & you have an extensive choice.I trued the classic LIIT & Cranberry mocktsil; both exquisite,inviting & piquant.Tried chicken Brussheta which were made up of minced chicken with spices & condiments perfectly cooked with a crunchy base of bread.Also had mexican Chicken Nachos loaded with chicken,veggies and cheese sauce.In Mains i had mutton adraki with garlic naan mutton were succulent cooked in adraki flavoured ,spices & were rich in gravy. Ambiance - 4 / 5 - Roof top place with covered roof, nice decor. It had great wind from all sides but it is covered from the sides during the rainy season. I hope it remains open in other seasons as this place a nice breeze of wind when the sides are open.

Food - 4 / 5 - Indian cuisine is great! They have some innovative new dishes that you wouldn't find normally on the menu. We tried the paneer lapeta kabab and it was absolutely delicious. There's room for improvement in Italian cuisine.

Service - 5 / 5 - The previous time that I had been here, the service was not satisfactory and I had given a feedback about the same to the owner, and yesterday when I visited again, with the restaurant being nearly full, the service was really good and despite heavy crowd, all dishes ordered arrived reasonably quickly.

Prices - Quite reasonable as compared to the Ambiance. 5 of us went for dinner, had starters, main course and also shared desserts and the bill was around ₹2300/-

Overall, it was a very good experience to go here for dinner!...
