Read moreWe visited the place for my birthday on recently. It has amazing ambience. The ceiling height adds to the grandeur of the place. We ended up sitting outside for the appetizers and cocktails and then shifted inside for the main course. The minced lamb dish, Kheema Pashtun was delicious. The starter, peshawari murg was good too. Lachha paratha and Naan were soft and enjoyable. While the serving volume was a bit less, we enjoyed the cocktails.
At the end of our meal, they served a slice of an amazing chocolate pastry on the house owing to the birthday occasion. This was the cherry on top of the a good evening experience.
This is a luxury dining place, that said, the music was unnecessarily loud, they have royal arches and rich décor, but the music was too harsh and was not at all suitable for the venue, it was somewhat jarring experience. The system of starters at one place and main course at someplace else could be a compromise for the lack of space (not sure about this), but that was odd and broke our mood for a bit. The place they gave us inside was a sofa seating with a center table, suitable for coffee and biscuits, definitely not for dinner. It did not even have enough place for the plates. Thankfully a table vacated and we could move there, but this moving two times in one evening was not something I would expect from a luxury dining place.
The staff was courteous and helpful. The service was slow, but the staff made up for it with their smile and charm.
Overall, I am not entirely sure of visiting again. I enjoyed the food and service, but the loud music, seating issues made it a bit inconvenient when we considered the price we...
Read moreGood place.. but today’s incident was disappointing… It was my anniversary and I went to celebrate it at Paasha, Marriott.
I took a Custiomized cake ordered by my wife but they didn’t allow me to take it inside as per their policies and said that they will keep it their refrigerator…. So I decided that after dinner I will go home and enjoy it..
But after dinner a guy named Ritesh came and said that it was given to some other customer.. To correct his mistake he suggested below points
Take home the half eaten cake and have the remaining cake
Asked me what was they price of it
He and the receptionist asked chef to fix the remaining cake and send it
Then a guy named Ashish (I think senior of Ritesh) came and said he will arrange some other cake and give us.
After waiting for 40 to 45 mins they handed over some other cake to us and said this is what we can do….
So I took it and left, but surely it ruined my 1st wedding anniversary and also all the efforts taken by my wife in advance to get the cake customised with love…
Very disappointing 💔
I would say that Ritesh and the receptionist definitely need training.. they are not ready…
And asking about the price of cake made me think that JW Marriott employees think that their customers are cheap and they can replace the efforts taken for special moments with money…
Thanks for such a...
