Jagruti Dining Hall — Restaurant in Pune

I m regular customer of jagruti since 2012.... Also we had marriage party there in 2014... Being regular customer yesterday i got very bad experience... We went there after shopping it was near about 10.30pm.. We asked the counter person can we get in at time he was okay... Later after some time food serving was very slow rice koi de raha to daal nahi aa rahi.... After us 4 men also joined... while having dinner there was a fly roaming around us i just causally said to owner uncle aaj service bhi slow hai aur makkhi bhi aa rahi hai kya baat hai.... His reply to that was aap log ek ghante se khana kha rahe ho toh aaisa hi hoga na and jaldi khau started murmuring we were there for hardly 10 min as no one can eat for hour there... Due to there late service we had to wait... Later when my girl went to talk with that guy he got angry on him and when i saw he started smiling at me.... This person was rude to us that i would hereby not recommend the thali to anyone.. Being a regular customer i would say taste was much more better then earlier.... Also i would appreciate if they hier good manager there.... Just a hopeless person...matlab paisa mill raha hai toh lena hai par khana nahi dena......

The only good thing in thali was Moong Dal Khichdi.

I love exploring new restaurants and rely on Google Maps to discover hidden gems. However, my visit to this place was a complete nightmare. After putting in tremendous effort to locate it, I stepped in only to witness an absolute hygiene disaster.

One waiter was casually fingering his mouth, then lifting his shirt to scratch his body in plain sight. Another was openly scratching his private parts—all while serving food with those same hands! The lack of basic hygiene and professionalism was shocking. Eating there was an experience I wouldn't wish on anyone.

If cleanliness and hygiene matter to you, AVOID THIS PLACE...

Nice quite place mostly available for lunch and dinner. Provides gujarati thali and unlimited food. Thali consist of 3-4 sabji, pulav/jira rice/khichadi, 2 farsan, 1 sweet, roti/puri/pulka, drink, papad, chatni, aachar, etc. The food quality/taste is awsome. Today the price of thali is Rs. 250. This place also has a small hall (good for about 100 people) and is good for small functions like family gathering, birthday, naming ceremony, engagement, etc. Mostly hall comes free if you book thali for group of people...
