पैसे घेऊन शास्त्र शुद्ध अपमान करून मिळेल I don't like to write negative reviews but yesterday it was something i could not bear. For My father's 64th birthday celebration, we had planned a get together for almost 20-25 of our relatives out of which 10 were kids. We reached fadake dining hall at around 7.00pm and got to know it opens from 7.30-7.45.. we all were waiting. We were the first customers there to reach with no rush at all. Around 7.25pm my 8 month old baby boy was cranky and we wanted to feed him. We carried his food and booster seat with us and my mom my mil and me was gonna feed him and some self feeding for him. We have a huge family where everyone is having fond of my baby. So... we asked an owner (lady at the billing counter seems like owner from her attitude ) that can we just come in and feed our bub? She asked question like what are u going to feed? How old is he? N all. Since the child was playing with other cousins who were 4-5 years old, kids came along. Lady shouted so badly on us... she said "कोणी तरी दोघंच थांबा " for almost 5 times. We have invited some guests and she simply insulted them. Ok so we neglected... Frustrating thing is only after two minutes of shouting incident she let everybody in for dinner... so u wanted them to come after two minutes so what would have happened if they stayed for 2 minutes??? We were not going to steal her utensils no? Second incident : out of 25 people, 18 came early so we started their dinner. After 18 were eating one of my brother came who sat on place and was waiting for dinner to be served. She again shouted "एकट्या दुकट्या साठी जेवण वाढणार नाही " 😡 as if we were not gonna pay her for that person. So he was insulted and asked to wait in waiting area. Third incident : looking at her attitude we asked remaining members to wait till all of them come... there was a other family who came and was being served... my remaining members were waiting for food for almost 10 minutes. Being asked for this delay, they said we have a bigger group to serve and we have less manpower...
my question is, if we are adjusting to your mediocre service, can't you just talk nicely with people???
My mom was literary frustrated and said mala jevan nahi janar. If you are running a restaurant, you should value a customer.
PS there was no rush in restaurant when we approached. Still there was a delay in service
Now lets come to food part(don't have pictures as was busy with my kid)
Puris were excellent but served only one first time and for second time we had to asked for 2-3 times Matar usal tomato sar mixed bhaji batata bhaji all good. But served very little portions to adults (for kids i can understand why less) and next time if we want we need to call hell lot of times. Pulao and plain rice was nice but the intention was to serve as early as possible. 😁 we didn't have to ask for pulao or rice. Shrikhand very good served only once after initial serving. Sabudana vada was mediocre. Fulkas were so tiny that some of our bodybuilder guests finished them as served. For the next one we need to wait for 5 minutes 😁
So my overall point of advice for that lady 1.Be strict with your service and captains than customers 😒 Have some respect for your customers who are senior citizens Shouting on customers will make you loose them even you provide good food which was clearly seen yesterday कारण मी पुन्हा नाही येणार 😁 जग HOW TO INCREASE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION वर RESEARCH करत आहे आणि ह्यांना काही पडलंच नाहीये त्याचा.
I have been to all dining halls of the area
Siddhivinayak Durvankur Poona boarding Shreyas apte road
But they have way better people management... poona boarding che Udapikar kaka tar me pregnant astana mala special laukar jaga karun dyayche mi gele ki... they win customers...
So in short... If you want to get insulted and have some decent maharastrian food... please visit. मी तर नाही जाणार आहे तुम्हाला अपमान करून घायचा...
Read moreWent for a Sunday lunch and was really impressed with the simplicity, ambience; service levels with a smile of the staff
Food wise a 3 from me as it was a mixed experience for me and the after taste a wee bit sugary for my taste buds Dhokla was super soft and spongy but tasted a bit sugary Raita was like a Dip-too thick but fresh and sugary Green Chutney rocked and so did the Jalebis And Tak Moong dal bhajia though fresh and crisp had no taste and can be improved Both alloo ka sabji were Ok though didn’t understand Y so much potato love on one day Veg Jalfrezi was good but cooked with a lot of Kadi pata like South Indian tasting Mixed Veg and not Veg Jal frezi Even the Masala Bhat which looked super was on the sweeter side for me May be this is what Maharashtrian food tastes like but not for me as it reminded me more of Gujarati fare Though every thing was cooked; well and fresh
A request to Owners— when one is known for Maharashtrian food having the menu in Marathi doesnot help people who visit you to taste that So a simple translation of the Menu to English helps Even with the lady telling us it is Maharashtrian food very sweetly didn’t help as we could not understand exactly what we were to be served though each Server tried their best to...
Read moreI have visited this place more than twice now. Once it was for a family function and our relatives had booked the hall. Other two times just the dining section.
They offer mouth-watering authentic brahmani Maharashtraian vegetarian menu with unlimited servings. It's an all you can eat thali restaurant. For special festival days they have special dishes like ukadiche modak (उकडीचे मोदक). Or on sankashti they would serve special upawas food.
Brahmani Maharashtraian cuisine is traditionally sweeter. It's light on your tongue but can get heavy on your stomach. They won't have paneer dish or something very spicy. Aloo (अळू), a green leafy vegetable and not potato, bhaji is the best. Then birdya, amti and other such traditional dishes and best experienced here. For me this one of the best cuisines in the world, but YMMV.
If there is no event happening in the hall, then sufficient four wheeler parking is available in the basement.
Especially loved the service and promptness of the staff. They were eager and courteous.
It's in the core area of pune and this area has many buffet dining restaurants, but this one has kept the charm of authentic brahmani Maharashtraian cuisine for a long time. All the very...
