Malwade Motels — Hotel in Pune

Me and my friend stayed in this so called hotel because we had a workshop near by and this one was the only available place for us! 2 days pre arrival we received a confirmation about our arrival time and date! When we arrived at the place there was no one in charge to be found. We tried calling but no one picked up! So we waited. After an approximate hour someone finally picked up and told us that there is no room available for today anymore! Even with our provided and confirmed booking number they could not give us a room and said we need to come back tomorrow! Luckily a friend took us in for one night otherwise we would have had a costly problem on our hands!! When we checked in the next day we were provided with a very poor and slow service and we had to repeatedly ask about the wifi and they would not let us know until 6h later where we can refil drinkable water! After 3 days the employee lady came and told us we needed to change the room. We agreed on changing the room in the next morning because my friend was sick with an upset stomach and fever and not able to move around. The employee came around 9 times through the day without hesitating to penetrantly ring the bell! We told her constantly that my friend was sick and needs to rest but she came again and again for no profound reason!! In the evening at 9 the manager gave us little to no choice to finally move the room! We needed to pay the same price for a room that was way smaller and dirtier than the previous one! The bathroom pipe had a lack so the floor was constantly flooded. Since the dry floor turned slippery we placed a towel on the floor to dry our feet after leaving the bathroom! When the hotel staff saw that they started screaming at us and wanted to charge us 300 rupees each!! Until this point we were patient and respectful but this was too much! This is not a guest house! Its a hotel where we paid good money for and we felt not treated as paying guests at all! After a long and upsetting argument with the owner he gave us the choice to clean the towel by ourselves or to pay 600 rupees for it! We needed to justify ourselves and at the end he accepted the fact that we are not going to pay for it nor clean the towels. Me and my friend both traveled a lot already but we have never ever experienced such an unbelievable situation in not even a hostel but in a hotel before! This will stick with us as the worst stay and I deeply and truly recommend no one to ever stay in this hotel ever with an incompetent manager and a disrespectful staff like that!! Located in the heart of Pune, within walking distance of Shri Dagdusheth Ganpati, this hotel offers a convenient location, but my experience was far from satisfactory. While the prices are reasonable, the level of service and cleanliness left much to be desired.

Upon checking in, I was disappointed to find that the room had not been fully cleaned. It was clear that the attendant had merely tucked in the sheets, leaving the rest of the room untouched. The trash bin still contained waste from the previous guest, telling a story of negligence that no guest should have to deal with. This oversight made me question the overall hygiene of the room, especially since the sheets appeared to have not been changed.

The lack of attention to detail was concerning, and it seemed like basic housekeeping standards were not being met. For a hotel located in such a prime area, I expected much better care and service. It’s frustrating when a simple task like ensuring the room is clean and fresh for the next guest is overlooked.

While the location and price are appealing, I wouldn’t recommend this place unless management addresses these cleanliness issues. A clean room is the least a guest should expect, and unfortunately, this hotel...

Ok so I stayed here for one night first of all the entrance is confusing if you are coming for the first time you have to go through the parking lot from the basement there's a lift the motel itself is situated on the 2nd floor of the building that's it when you enter the motel you will find the area a bit congested or small but the rooms are okayish not bad but also not good if you are coming for shopping from Mumbai or so then I think you can stay here for a night or two but not more than a week room has no views bcz the rooms are situated in backside of the Building the motel also has a short menu but you have to wait till 10am to order the breakfast we had a hot coffee in the afternoon it was good 👍 washrooms are not in the best condition and the biggest downside the heater is LPG so confusing to turn it on and half of the time the staff is not available on reception desk I don't know why so if you just want a room to stay in a friendly budget then it's top in the list would recommend if you have to stop...
