Toons Burgers — Restaurant in Pune

So went to this place post a review from one of my friend who like me is a traveller and a foodie too.

So about the place this is owned by the owner of the famous Toons Cafe located in MG Road which is temporarily closed due to some reasons.

So. coming to this place a small place which I think is either not known much to ppl ( I am just guessing and not sure on the same ) very neat and tidy place.

They have burgers available in two sizes mini and big ( Regular as per me )

Ordered to burgers for self. First I ordered Sausage and Salami Burger worth 160. To be honest about the bun it was damn soft, sausage and salami was damn juicy with fresh lettuce along with the damn yummy sauces. Definetely worth having it.

Second I ordered for that little space in my tummy was mini chicken burger. To be honest post having Sausage and salami burger I kinda did injustice to my pallet n tummy too as the taste expectations were set high. But nevertheless mini chicken was also good. Just a bit smaller than the previous burger i ordered.

Overall verdict about the place. Good place to be solo or with friends, great burgers and neat n tidy place. But still this place can never beat the pricing and quantity of Camps Burger king ( my opinion ).

New place alert! This is a new venture from the owner of café toons on MG Road. Burgers, fries, and all flavours of ardeshi's soda available.

Ambience- bright décor, easy to spot! Limited seating area available, it's good for takeaways.

Food- There are only 3 veg burger options- aloo tikki, veg patty and 3 cheese burger. Hopefully there'll be a paneer option soon.

We tried the grilled chicken burger and chicken steak burger with BBQ sauce. The grilled chicken burger was a crunchy outer layer patty which was soft and juicy on the inside with a generous dash of mayo! Fresh lettuce and tomato slices to balance the flavours.. Pair it with a side of fries (go for the peri peri fries) and you have a mini meal there. The chicken steak burger had pieces of chicken dipped in thick BBQ sauce which was about the right consistency. The burgers were lukewarm when we received them,I think they would taste better if it was hot rather than warm.

Pricing- For the price point, I think you get a good deal.

They do have baked custard (not too sweet) for those looking to have dessert after the meal! I'd wish they add caramel custard soon!
