& Theyâre Back
Wake & Bake has reopened and Iâm thrilled to have this gem back. Even during their soft launch, the quality and attention to detail is evident everywhere.
The space is beautifully designed with a modern, clean aesthetic. The teal accents on the ceiling and thoughtful lighting create such a welcoming atmosphere. Now they have ambient music that elevates the experience and makes eating with friends and family a pure joy. The display cases showcase stunning pastries that are almost too beautiful to eat (almost!).
The menu has expanded beautifully with pancakes, waffles both sweet and savoury(on weekends), smoothies, and new sandwiches.
I had the pleasure of trying several items:
Cappuccino - perfectly balanced and smooth
Fettuccine a-la-pesto - fresh pasta with aromatic pesto
Grilled cottage cheese sandwich - beautifully grilled with melty goodness
Hand-tossed Quattro Formaggi Ravioli with butter sauce and garlic bread - rich, creamy, and absolutely indulgent
Pistachio croissant - each flaky layer a canvas of nutty pistachio richness
But the real showstoppers? Their signature desserts âAppleâ and âPearâ are back by popular demand, with a twist that youâd have to try for yourself! The craftsmanship in their pastries is exceptional - these fruit-shaped creations are edible art.
The team is clearly passionate about what they do, and it shows in every detail. Even with some finishing touches still being added, the experience is already top-notch.
This is the kind of artisanal bakery and patisserie Pune needed.
Welcome back, Wake...

I recently tried an uncooked potato puff, and I have to say, it was a disappointing experience. The texture was dense and starchy, nothing was there you'd expect from a properly cooked version. The raw potato flavor was overpowering and slightly bitter, making it hard to enjoy. Additionally, the lack of seasoning or any kind of preparation left it bland and unappetizing.
Also the woman on service is rude and not accepting that puff was undercooked then asked her to touch the puff then she said yeah it is raw but no money return offered there as they don't care about customer. I am okay to pay but atleast they should have showed some courtesy.
If youâre looking for a good puffs then never visit this place, and wake and bake chef/baker make sure to cook it properlyâwhether baked/friedâso people can enjoy the crispy outside and inside, that makes them so delicious. Eating one raw is definitely not...
Read moreI had recently got chance to eat at Wake and Bake, the dishes I tried was really good and fresh and coffee was really good. Also the shop has silent surrounding and good sit out area adding to ambience. Also plus point is availability of parking in front of shop, we can enjoy good food and keep looking out on our beloved machines.
The service can be improved like sauce packets, sugar packets, tissues and normal water bottles can be kept at table. Also you can add slow instrumental relaxing music to add more ambience.
Things to try I would suggest is Chicken grilled Sandwich, Pasta, Coconut bounty tart and walnut roscher.
Pro trip: you can take mom/wife/girlfriend to nearby saloon and let them do the make. In the mean time you can enjoy good food at Wake...
