Amrita Pure Veg Restaurant — Restaurant in Pune

We visited this restaurant with high hopes, expecting a nice dinner experience, but unfortunately, it turned out to be quite disappointing. From the moment we were seated, things didn’t go well. The ambience was okay, but when it came to the food — it was a total letdown.

We ordered several items including paneer crispy, tandoori roti, and a few vegetable dishes. The paneer was chewy and lacked any real flavor. It was supposed to be crispy, but it felt undercooked and soggy. The tandoori roti was extremely hard and dry — it was difficult to even break it properly, let alone enjoy it. The curries were bland and lacked basic spices. We even asked them to make it a bit spicy and flavorful, but it still came out tasteless. It was clear that there was no effort in preparation or presentation.

What made the experience worse was the service. Even after giving feedback about the food, no one really took it seriously. They seemed uninterested in resolving the issue or improving the meal. We were a group of people and everyone was equally disappointed — we all felt like our evening was wasted.

To be honest, we’ve never had such a bad dining experience before. Definitely not worth the price we paid. I usually don’t write reviews, but I felt this one was necessary so that others don’t go through the same experience. This place seriously needs to work on food quality and customer service.

I won’t be visiting again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who’s expecting good food...

This restaurant re-opened recently after renovation. We had visited this place thrice before renovation. That time the food quality and service both were good. But was heavily disappointed during the recent visit on 26th April 2025. It took more than 20 minutes for the starter Gobi Manchurian to arrive. Further another 30 minutes for Kofta curry and Rotti to arrive. Although we told specifically to make it less spicy, it was heavily spiced. The quality of service in terms of cutlery, plates and serving method were not good. Not sure what kind of renovation was done, but the tables were old and full of oily dirt. Flies everywhere and a noisy kitchen and staff. Food taste has definitely deteriorated after renovation. Surely it feels like a change in management. Gave the feedback to the waiter and the person at the cash counter, but their body language was very negative. There are lots of options nearby. Its not worth visiting this...

I was going there for parcel of sabji, like veg handi , veg kadhie etc at first two to 3 times he gave me sufficient Quantity but next time it was exactly half and on that also 3 big tamota pieces was their ,felt cheated and insulted my question is that duee to inflation,rates can be hiked its ok but don't u think that at same rate u are giving me half Quantity don't u think it is wrong? If quantity is half then rate should be half also. Secondly the man at night on counter is itself confused and don't know how to operate computer, also he gave me my parcel 15 min late even though it was lying on counter. He do it purposely......wrost service bring old...
