A Delightful Culinary Fusion - A Taste of Home Away from Home!

As a native of Uttarakhand, finding a restaurant that can satisfy my discerning taste buds has always been a challenge. However, our recent visit to "Ya Basa" in Pune, Maharashtra, proved to be an extraordinary experience that surpassed all expectations.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. Our female attendant Dipti, guided us through the menu with a genuine passion for the cuisine. It was a pleasant surprise to discover that the talented chef behind the delectable dishes was also from Uttarakhand. This revelation filled me with excitement and anticipation, as I knew I was in for a taste of home away from home.

Dipti suggested we try the Crabs (with bone), a recommendation we gladly accepted. The food arrived promptly, beautifully presented and fragrant with enticing aromas. With my first bite, I was transported back to the flavors of my childhood, reminiscent of the dishes lovingly prepared by my family. The crab dish had a unique Maharashtrian twist that blended harmoniously with the authentic Uttarakhand flavors, creating a culinary fusion that delighted my senses.

Aside from the exceptional crab dish, we also indulged in the Surmayi and accompanied it with the heavenly combination of Dal Makhani and fragrant rice. Each dish was a testament to the chef's skill and mastery of flavors. It was evident that the chef's Uttarakhand roots infused a special touch into every bite, capturing the essence of our beloved regional cuisine.

The impeccable service provided by Dipti further enhanced our dining experience. Her knowledge, attentiveness, and genuine care made us feel right at home. We felt as though we were being hosted by a close friend who understood our preferences and desires. Dipti's presence, combined with the chef's culinary expertise, created a magical atmosphere that we won't soon forget.

Ya Basa not only offers an exceptional dining experience but also manages to bridge the gap between two diverse culinary worlds. The presence of a talented chef from Uttarakhand ensures an authentic taste that will resonate with anyone seeking a genuine cultural experience.

From the moment we stepped into Ya Basa to the last bite we savored, we were enthralled by the thoughtfulness and attention to detail exhibited by the entire team. The atmosphere, the flavors, and the heartfelt service truly set this restaurant apart.

If you're in Pune and craving a taste of Uttarakhand combined with the flavors of Maharashtra, Ya Basa is the place to be. Allow yourself to be transported on a gastronomic journey that celebrates the best of both worlds. We wholeheartedly recommend this remarkable establishment and extend our gratitude to the entire team, including the talented chef and the exceptional Dipti, for a memorable...

A Culinary Oasis in Pune - A Must-Try Gem!

Words cannot express the sheer delight my girlfriend and I experienced during our visit to "Ya Basa" in Pune, Maharashtra. As two individuals hailing from different culinary backgrounds, we had been on a quest to find a restaurant that could truly satisfy our divergent tastes. Our search finally ended at "Ya Basa," and what a remarkable find it turned out to be!

From the moment we stepped inside, we were warmly greeted by the attentive and knowledgeable waitress, Dipti. Her dedication and passion for her job were evident, and she guided us through the menu with genuine enthusiasm. Without hesitation, she recommended the Crab (with bone) dish, promising an authentic and unforgettable culinary experience.

Within a mere 15 minutes, our food arrived, beautifully presented and brimming with anticipation. As I took my first bite, memories of my grandmother's kitchen flooded my senses. The flavors were incredibly nostalgic, transporting me back to a time when every meal was a feast for the soul. I couldn't help but shed tears of happiness, grateful that Dipti had seemingly understood the cravings of my heart.

My girlfriend, a true connoisseur of Uttarakhand cuisine, was equally captivated by the Maharashtrian touch in the dish. We also indulged in the Surmayi and paired it with the mouthwatering Dal Makhani and fragrant rice. Every bite was a revelation, a symphony of flavors that left us utterly speechless.

It wasn't just the extraordinary food that left an impression on us—it was the meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of our dining experience. From the elegant presentation of each dish to the carefully curated playlist, Ya Basa demonstrated a commitment to excellence that surpassed our expectations.

Beyond the culinary delights, we cannot praise Dipti enough for her exceptional service. Her warmth, knowledge, and genuine care made us feel as if we were the most important guests in the restaurant. We are convinced that she is the heart and soul behind the magic at Ya Basa.

With complete abandon and without any fear of judgment, we relished every morsel, savoring not just the delectable food but also the cherished memories created in that unforgettable evening.

If you are in Pune, "Ya Basa" is an absolute must-visit. Allow yourself to be transported on a culinary journey that will awaken your taste buds and touch your soul. Embrace the experience, and you will understand why we wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem.

Thank you, Ya Basa, Thank You Chief Kushal and Dipti for creating a dining experience that will forever be etched in...

Review - Ya Basa is a Punjabi Dhaba located in Baner. The food here is really tasty and it is also not too heavy on the pocket. The ambiance here is really nice and it makes you feel as if you are sitting in an actual dhaba somewhere in North India. The walls have some hilarious quotes that will definitely make you forget about counting the calories when eating here. They used to offer alcoholic drinks earlier, however, now alcohol is no longer served here. I would definitely recommend you to try this place once. The servers here are very polite and give amazing suggestions.

Food - For starters we had Paneer 65 and Paneer Tikka, both were great with Paneer 65 being a little spicy but tasty. The masala papad was also nice. For the main course, we ordered veg Bhuna and Paneer Punjabi. Both of them were really tasty and definitely worth trying once. For roti, if you are a group of 6-8 people, it is best to order the Roti Basket, it contains plain roti, butter roti, butter naan, cheese garlic naan, missi roti as well as laccha paratha. You can try all of them and order more as per your liking. I would only suggest this (Roti basket) for a group of minimum 6 people. The jeera rice and dal were also really nice and authentic Punjabi taste.

Negatives - The only reason for cutting 1 star in the review was, that when we reached the place, we were told that there was a 1+1 offer on their mocktails, however at the time of paying the bill, we were told that the offer was no longer applicable. That was the only negative experience.

However, the place has a 25% offer on the Dineout app so that definitely is an added plus.

And the three mocktails that we ordered, Guava merry, Mango blossom, and Strawberry Fizz, all three of them were so amazing that we did not mind paying for all of them at all.

Overall, the place is really amazing and you can definitely visit here for a nice lunch,...
