I went puri on 21 Feb 2023 to celebrate my son's birthday and we purchased cake from bakery shop of seagull hotel, bakery person said you can't cut the cake in the shopping as we were very hungry we went to seagull restaurant we asked the person can we cut the cake he said ok you can cut but first you have to ordere its ok as we were hungry so we ordered thali he said we don't serve thali it was on the menu then we ordered noddel and nonveg Sigler, when we told him to bring a plate for cake he said you have to pay 500 for cutting the cake , I said ok can you give me a bill of 500 he said no we are sorry it's a policy of restaurant then we denied to cut the cake , we placed the order which took 50 min to come in our table, it's okk Sigler takes time then what about noodles which we ordered...it was so surprising to see Sigler was very cold not even hot....I suggest it's worst to visit..their was no crowd at all in the restaurant as it is in the center...

The food is decent sometimes, but not always. We once ordered a mixed vegetable dish, and they served us curry that seemed like it was from the day before. When we complained, they refused to cancel the order and said the curry was fresh. They never acknowledged the poor quality of the food and wouldn't cancel an order even if there was an issue. They said we had to pay for the order regardless of its quality, and once you order, you have to pay. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant if you're looking for good food; try somewhere else.
