13 Parbon Bengali Restaurant — Restaurant in Puri

Well I am here at Puri and after checking the review online I came here to dine with my family Food was okay but most shocking was the behaviour of the staff and service The owner himself misbehaved with us over a simple issue which made us so disappointed that I can't explain

When I am paying for the service tax and The other taxes and I am paying for the food why can't I use the Tissue paper at the restaurant. While wiping my hands after the meal I had to face the objection from the hotel staff that I can't use more than one Tissue paper to wipe my oily hands.

This led into a debate and the hotel staff misbehaved with us

We have been to many fine dining places all over the country but never had such a horrible after meal. If this continues at the land of Jagannath then I am sorry to say it's very unfortunate thing.

To all the tourist out there please before going to this restraunt make sure to read all the reviews and specially the one where such incidents of misbehaving with customers is involved. Being a responsible citizen,a foodie,a travel enthusiast and a food critics of the country I will never recommend this restaurant to other.

Ok, i would like to keep this review short, you can check my other reviews as well, i try to state the problem in very simple manner and for that i might end up writing big review, but for those people who didn't want to read long review for them, DONT VISIT THIS PLACE, they do offer good food, affordable as well but the atmosphere is not good, actually crematorium SWARGODWAR is just on the left of this place and all the burning flame/smoke coming directly into the restaurant and for that, the breathing atmosphere is heavy any asthma patient can feel that easily, also because of this burning smokes your eyes will feel itchy and also the smells of the foods affected huge. I mean i know they can't change this restaurant now but i also can't recommend some place which I can't visit more than twice, i visited twice on the occasion of lunch and dinner both the time i felt the same wanted to get out of the place so quickly. No i have eaten so many things from this place but everything becomes pointless because of this. Still i am going to share the photos as well do check them out if you want to go there. Very soon i will post others restaurants review as well, till then stay safe and eat...

It's located near Swargodar Mahasasan. It's situated below ground level. AC restaurant. Ambient is good. If you prefer thali then there are a lot more options for you. Few mentioned below. Veg thali - ₹ 105 Rui Thali - ₹150 Katla Thali - ₹180 Pabda Thali - ₹ 220 Mutton Thali - ₹220 (2pcs of 50gm) And lot more like Parse, ilish, Crab etc. Each thali has Plain Rice, 2 Sabji, Jhuri Alu Vaja, Dal, Chatni. Rice quantity in a Thali is lesser than my requirement. So i had to order an extra half rice (₹25). Thali consists of curry or jhol of an item. If you require sorse or mustard you have to order separately like pabda sorse is ₹165. Chow or noodles are of good quality and quantity. Egg Chow is ₹95, Egg chicken is ₹125. Chili chicken is so so in taste (₹180 with 8pcs). If anyone wants to eat here with no waiting, try to go at 12:30-1 pm for lunch and 8:30 to 9:30 for dinner. Food quality is very good and the behaviour of the service persons are also good. Both dine in and take away options are available. Overall a very good restaurant...
