I was a house guest at Natural Lake Hotel between June 25-July 1. Owing to various reasons including the curfew, I had every meal of mine at La Marina Bistro and still looked forward to my next meal with gusto without getting bored of the food– I guess that says it all.

The restaurant provides a picturesque view of the lake and offers choice of Indian, Continental, Chinese and Mexican cuisine. The food is freshly prepared under the supervision of Mrs. Sharma, which ensures the homely taste of the food without the overdose of masala, spices and oil that you associate with restaurant food.

While every item we devoured was great, we especially loved the pasta, paneer pakora, dal baati, aloo paratha, poha, Khichdi, Kadi Pakora and Malai Kofta. They have a lot of homemade desserts too. The serving size is large. Only suggestion is to probably introduce a single serve option for solo visitors. The waiters are courteous and they customize food to your taste.
