We had Pastas and Pizzas at Burg, Bundi yesterday evening. Ofcourse the food was tasty. But what made Burg outshine others was Abhay and his brother's attitude of going out of their way to help tourists like us! Yesterday evening, the entire market including all restaurants and cafes were closed due to Makar Sakranti. We - 5 adults and 1 child, from Delhi and Ahmedabad - didn't know that these joints would be closed! When we ventured out from our hotel in search of a place to have dinner, we were astonished to find that no food was available! In that moment of agony we found Burg to be the only establishment open! Although, fast food was not our choice but we ordered at Burg, to avoid remaining hungry in the night! Abhay somehow understood our predicament and after serving 75% of our order pointed out that he understood that the pizzas and pastas wouldn't suffice our hunger! He then proceeded to order on phone Indian food to our liking from a contact of his, who runs a restaurant on the other side of the city! This food arrived within 20 minutes and Abhay was gracious enough to offer his restaurant space for us to have this food and he provided some cutlery too! Thanks Abhay and your brother for this wonderful and warm hospitality, which we will remember always! It is hard to find such graciousness from...
Read moreI recently visited The Burg, a charming coffee shop tucked away in the heart of the city, and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. From the moment I walked in, the cozy atmosphere and welcoming vibe made it clear that this place is a haven for coffee enthusiasts and anyone looking for a relaxed spot to unwind.
Ambiance: The Burg exudes a warm and inviting ambiance with its rustic decor, comfortable seating, and soft lighting. The background music is just the right volume, allowing for conversation without having to shout. It’s the perfect blend of modern and vintage, with a touch of local charm that makes it feel like a true neighborhood spot.
Coffee: The coffee at The Burg is top-notch. They offer a wide variety of options, from classic espressos to unique seasonal blends. I tried their signature pour-over, and it was smooth, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. You can tell they take their coffee seriously here, with baristas who are knowledgeable and passionate about their craft. The menu also includes some creative lattes and cold brew options, making it hard to...
Read moreI heard a hype about this place from many persons in the city, so thought to had a visit over here. So I came with 2 of my friends and we wanted to have a spicy one pizza so we ordered #MexicanPizza from there menu and 1 Irish coffee. The pizza was not at all good as it had no taste of Mexican instead of that it had just normal toppings which we find in a regular pizza also. Pizza didn't had any crust in that and it's very costly. Next thing the #irishcoffe doesn't turned out well it tasted like a normal cold coffee. So it was waste of time...
