Fantastic Dining Experience with Minor Room for Improvement I recently had the pleasure of dining at Urban Palate , Sevoke Road, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was impressed by the professional and attentive staff, as well as the inviting ambience of the restaurant. To start my culinary journey, I opted for the Lime Coriander soup, and it was a refreshing and flavorful delight. The combination of tangy lime and aromatic coriander made for a perfect appetizer, setting the tone for the rest of the meal. The Creamy Cauliflower with wasabi and Cheese Fondue was a true standout dish. The cauliflower was cooked to perfection, offering a creamy and satisfying texture. The addition of wasabi provided a subtle kick, while the cheese fondue elevated the dish with its rich and indulgent flavors. This combination was an absolute winner and left me craving for more. For dessert, I tried the Fried Ice Cream and Chocolate Pudding. While the overall experience was enjoyable, the Fried Ice Cream fell slightly short of my expectations. Although it had a pleasant taste, the execution could have been improved. It seemed a bit lacking in texture and could benefit from a crisper and more flavorful coating. However, this minor flaw did not overshadow the wonderful dining experience I had overall. The staff at Urban Palate was truly commendable. Their professionalism and attentiveness made me feel welcome and well taken care of throughout my visit. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful suggestions, enhancing the overall dining experience. The ambience of the restaurant was another highlight. The sophisticated decor and cozy atmosphere created the perfect setting for a fine dining experience. The attention to detail in the interior design was evident and added to the overall charm of the place. In conclusion, Urban Palate at Sevoke Road is a remarkable fine dining restaurant and cafe. The Lime Coriander soup, Creamy Cauliflower with wasabi and Cheese Fondue, and Chocolate Pudding were all delightful culinary creations. Although the Fried Ice Cream could use some improvement, it did not dampen my enthusiasm for the restaurant. With its professional staff and pleasant ambience, Urban Palate is a must-visit destination for those seeking a memorable dining experience.

One of it's own kind in town. There're so many dimly lit pubs nowadays that this Bistro feels like a breath of fresh air with it's atmosphere. 💫 The sitting area is divided into three separate rooms, all unique with their designs. The outside overlooks the hustle of the city, the mid portion is like any up restaurant type and the innermost one is very quaint and cabin like. The decor is top notch. 🌟 Coming to the food, value for the money quality,💸 quantity is slightly less than expected. There're a lot of fusion dishes, some are very new and unique to the crowd. The taste was really good.🍽️ There're usual beverages too ( alc/non-alcoholic) 🍸, which in my opinion was a tad bit pricey. They should look into the quantity of the food they're offering. The behaviour of the staffs are really good, they look out for you if you need help. Extremely polite and with decent behaviour. The owner came to us and asked for the experience and it was really refreshing to see them care for the customers. I hope this place gets it's name in the book in Siliguri because it deserves it. ❤️💯🤞🏼 Ordered the following stuffs Pav bhaji fondue (3.5/5) 🍞🫕 [ good idea behind it but definitely needed more pav balls compared to the price they're charging for it] Chicken teriyaki bao (3.8/5)🌮 [ quantity was okay,it was fresh, tasted really good too] Dry Martini (1/5)🍸 [ it wasn't good, usually everywhere we go they give accompaniments with drinks but here we're offered none . It was just that drink. Pretty disappointed.] Vanilla ice cream with almonds and brownie (4/5)🍨 [ It's a safe dessert, very common in nowadays food scenes but what made it different was the brownie. It wasn't dense and rich but airy and light. Really liked it with the creamy icecream.]

As a very big foodie and a traveller I have quite some experience when it comes to different cuisines, ambience and vibes. I can positively say that the place is amazing not only in terms of food but ambience and staff too. Let’s start with the most important thing first, food! The food of this place is amazing and provides you with a variety of cuisines which is really authentic in taste. I happen to try Mediterranean and Mexican cuisine and it was far better than what I had tasted in Siliguri before. Before having my first dining experience here I always preferred yellow chillies for dining but This places gave me much more and better options in terms of veg cuisine. Really looking forward to going back and trying some more of that menu. Ambience. The ambience, lighting and decor of this place is second to none and really Brightens up the mood. Staff. The Staff is really sweet and willing, and happen to know their trade well which is expected out of high end restaurant. Overall had a nice outing and good experience altogether, kudos to the urban palate team.

Okay so there are two sitting areas so we sat inside and told the staff to bring both the menus and we ordered from both the menus.we also ordered pizza which was from outside's menu but when we saw the bill we noticed that the pizza that they were including was from inside but we clearly mentioned that only crispy baby corn is from inside and rest of the things are from outside only.they than started making there own theory that while sitting inside we can't order from outside, okay so if this is the case why didn't the staff mentioned it earlier when we told him to bring outside menu also then why in the bill except pizza everything was from outside menu.we were ready to pay the bill also but then the manager or I don't know who he was came and took the bill with so much of ego and attitude as if we can't pay but that was not the case,we never told them to make changes in the bill we were Just confronting them about there mistake.then manager came with another bill reducing hardly 100 rupees or less than that, not even making changes in the bill in the place of pizza.that manager or whatever he was just wanted to show his ego infront of some 17 year old students in uniform.but staffs were good i won't blame them.one of the staff also brought some sweets to cover up but feeding sweets won't cover your mistakes.also even if they did that unknowingly they should accept it in the first place but instead of accepting you are just showing that you are something and now I know the reason why that...
