A Total Waste of Money – Worst Thali Ever!
If disappointment had a taste, it would be this thali. I don’t know what kind of disaster happened in the kitchen, but every single item on the plate was a letdown. The dal was watery and tasteless, like someone just waved spices over it without actually using them. The sabzi? Either bland or so overloaded with salt that it felt like eating a spoonful of the ocean.
The chapatis were cold and rubbery, clearly reheated instead of freshly made. The rice? Dry and clumpy, as if it had been sitting in a corner for hours. Even the chutneys, which should add a kick, tasted stale and uninspired. And the sweet? A joke! Hard as a rock and barely edible.
To make matters worse, the service was as bad as the food. Slow, careless, and completely disinterested in customer satisfaction. This thali is an insult to Indian cuisine, and I wouldn’t recommend it even if it were free. Stay far, FAR away unless you enjoy paying...
Read moreIt's a great place to have a good time with and family. The food is good too! 3 starts because of two major reasons which I find they should fix ASAP. ONE, I could see huge racks of PLASTIC straws lined next to their coffee machine. This was a huge disappointment. I think it's high time for the restaurants to switch to the paper straws or the other bio degradable options. SECOND, The hard bound food menu which they presented wasn't clean at all. I could see the protective film over the pages had loads of stains. Also it felt a bit sticky. Keeping those menu clean is actually a big task which as much as I know is something many restaurants fail at. Maybe they can switch to e-menus as many other restaurants and even bars have them. Just place the QR code on table top and you're good to go. Also that's a way more hygenic method. Pros, you even save paper and money on getting them reprinted and getting...

I immediately took the food at the billing desk, cancelled remaining Food which was order as take away. Paid for beverages and left. I didn't bother to take a picture however, but do have bill to prove my review. Cockroaches don't wonder alone. There is probably an cockroach infestation in the Kitchen. Owner was quite as a mouse when this incident unfolded. I wouldn't recommend this place. Due to lack of proper food hygiene and health safety.
P.S. having not taken pictures of cockroach on chola, became a blessing in disguise for the owner, as no one in Siliguri would have eaten here...
