Reading the raving reviews i too stepped in . BIG disappointment. To begin with i stepped in at 10.30 pm , there closing time is 11 . Ok understood but when we step in kindly tell us tat u r closing. Made us sit. When we ordered the waiter says order all at once , closing time . Tats a big red flag . I requested if atleast i can order the dessert later , he again gave a firm statement , ITS the LAST ORDER. Though we understand , a smilling face would have been better. Ordered a few starters , nothing was so great as in the reviews n the quantity is so less. Prawns were horrible and lik those olden days ink rubber . Had to fight wit it to cut n eat it . Had to request an other waiter for a drink , they r again not tat great but expensive . Every table had some arguement to male with the waiters n the thing is nobody is there to gve a responsible reply. They make us feel as if we have come for some charity dinner. Managaement people u hire north indians for everything , thats ur stuff but atleast have them oriented to local language or atleast reply with a gud body language . Because ur dishes r not out of the world so may ur hospitality can pull in people or make them visit ur place again . I asked him if they hav gpay , 10 min later he comes and says sorry we dont have tooth picks ! I asked him for after meals , after waiting for 10 min i walked off then asked him whn i am leaving , do u remember i asked u somethn ... he told thank u for tat. It tuk me so much time to figure out that he dint understand wat i told him. We r nt here to humiliate anybody , he can call somebdy n say tat he doesnt understand stuff. Or they should somebdy to address things . Very very bad xperience . 100% waste of money n they spoil ur mood. Highly recommended to avoid...
Read moreHonestly a rip off of authentic Mediterranean food , though it claims to be. Taste was probably average at best
Every dish comes with same Pita and set of dips like harissa, salsa, tzatziki and mayo. Literally like your South Indian restaurant serving sambar chutney for every seperate dish. The dips though were tasty. I don’t know if the pita was honestly the best.
Atmosphere is okay. Situated at a higher floor and is quite cozy
Service could’ve been a bit faster but it was good
Food was the major letdown - I don’t think it’s really authentic Mediterranean food....
Read moreVisited 22 Constanza recently and had a great Mediterranean dining experience. We tried a variety of dishes: the Za’atar Fried Fish, Lamb Souvlaki, Chermoula Chicken, Harissa Fish, and the Luscious Lamb Ba'jhin – a flatbread pizza.
The Za’atar Fried Fish, while a bit heavy on the breadcrumbs compared to the fish, still tasted good and had a nice crunch. The Lamb Souvlaki stood out – the lamb was cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful, served with pilaf rice that complemented the meat really well. The Chermoula Chicken was another hit, accompanied by mayonnaise, hummus, and pickles, offering a nice balance of creamy and tangy flavors.
The Harissa Fish – a slice of basa fillet marinated in harissa spices – was ordered a bit later into our meal. The waiter kindly warned us that it might be too heavy, and he was right! With all the dishes on the table, we couldn't finish it and had to take it away. It was a good call though, because the flavor was great and we enjoyed it later.
The Luscious Lamb Ba’jhin (flatbread pizza) was tasty but quite filling, so it ended up being the dish we couldn’t finish at the table.
Service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance was cozy. The restaurant is on the smaller side – a little more space would definitely enhance the experience, but it still felt welcoming.
Overall: Good food, great service, and a solid spot for Mediterranean flavors. Worth a visit, especially if you're in the mood for lamb or spiced...
