Asiatique — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I like Malaysia side Asian cuisine. After seeing couple of positive reviews, deicided to visit this place for lunch. Restaurant was outdoor type and it would have been good for dinner but for lunch with drizzing climate and few of the hotel staffs was cleaning the floor at the other side of the restuarant, it wasn't a perfect place to have a pleasant lunch and there was bit big step to enter the restaurant, one of our member had broken leg so we asked if indoor dining option available and immediately their staff showed us to one table in nearby hall. We sat and after few minutes, Manager showed up said that we can't sit here and asked us to move to the outdoor seating as service is not available and immediately left. So I went back to meet the manager explaining that one of member having broken leg and it would be difficult for him to move again but he refused saying they are having man power shortage and I should move to the outdoor seating area and so we had to move. Then we asked for menu but they said they have digital menu only and our waiter had no clue about any questions regarding their menu. Then we ordered using Zomato and after few mins, waiter came back and informed Thandoori item(we ordered naan) is not available. Then opened Zomato to discover 4 out of 8 starter and main course we're not available. Although it is Asian restaurant, their main item dumpling was not available. So we decided to leave and asked them to bill just for the open water bottle. But Manager came who was also head chef argues that due to man power shortage, few items were not available but please check the screenshot on how many items were cancelled and they cancelled naan but not the butter chicken. Me and my husband visited here on Valentine's day. Asiatique is a roof-top restaurant. So we had to pre book ourselves to occupy seats under roof top. But looks like they don't note down ur booking it is merely first come first serve basis. Indoor facility is also available. We reached between 7 to 8 pm so we got a table that was fully decorated with rose petals and s scented candle in the middle which was so romantic and the ambience was mind blowing. The restaurant is so neat and the staffs are really polite. Next the food that is served here is Thai, Chinese based. So one can expect a different kind of menu here. Please look into the menu in Zomato before you go there. Chicken satay, chicken wings, Kung Pao chicken and golden baskets are some frequently ordered yet delicious ones here. One who is looking for different kind of menu and a tasty food should definitely visit here once. Oh about the cost - it is medium and pocket friendly. We ordered around 8 dishes and the cost was around 1600 for two. You can definitely visit here without worrying...

We ordered both veg and non veg foods . In veg starters we ordered Lotus stem , veg dimsum and Gobi manchurian. In non veg starters we ordered chicken manchurian, chicken dimsum , chicken pallipalayam, and chicken Monica . All veg starters were good but the lotus was as crispy as I wanted but too saucy for me I felt . The chicken starters were good except for the chicken pallipalayam . In main course we ordered some naan , rotis and schezwan fried rice with panner and butter chicken masala . It was all good . Their milo shake is a must try . Overall it’s a good place but the prices are pretty high for the taste...
