The Chocolate Room - Avinashi Road — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

This cute little spot has been open only for a few months now and I’m so glad we finally visited! It’s spacious, super clean, and the ambiance is just so chill and cozy. Definitely the kind of place where you can hang out with friends or even sit down with your laptop and spend some time!

Now coming to the food, we went crazy ordering and honestly, everything was yum, but here’s what we tried and my honest thoughts:

🌟 My top 3 must-try picks: Chicken Nachos Supreme – LOVED this! Super crunchy nachos, packed with toppings and loaded with cheese and spicy chicken. Every bite was yum! TCR Special Spicy Chicken Panino – The bread was toasted perfectly, and the filling was spicy, juicy, and flavourful. One of the best paninos I’ve had in India! Cheesy Chicken Peri Peri Fries – Crispy fries buried under gooey cheese and spicy chicken – what more do you need?! These disappeared in minutes!

Now for the rest:

☕ Classic Hot Chocolate – It was warm and comforting but could’ve been more richer and smoother. The chocolate flavour was nice, just wish it had a more smoother texture n taste!

🥶 TCR Frozen Coffee – This was refreshing and had an amazing coffee kick to it. If you’re not into overly sugary drinks, this one’s for you.

🍫 Double Chocolate Chip Frappe – Super indulgent! Thick, creamy, chocolatey, and topped with whipped cream and choco chips. Felt like dessert + drink in one!

🍝 Chicken Lasagne – Nice layers, great balance of sauce, spices and cheese. Slightly mild on flavour compared to the other spicy dishes, but still very satisfying if you like creamy lasagne!!! One go their must try!

🍓🍫 Dark Chocolate Fondue with Fruits – Loved this ending to the meal! The fruits were fresh, and the dark chocolate fondue was rich and not too bitter. It’s a fun thing to order when you’re in a group!!!

🥞 Chocolate Pancake with Strawberry – Okay wait, I customised it (of course 😌) and it came with chocolate ice cream and whipped cream on the side. Now picture this: a warm chocolate pancake, a little cut of strawberry, a scoop of ice cream, a dollop of cream - all in one bite. Waaaahhhh it was so good 🤤 The pancake texture alone was a tad floury, but flavour-wise? Yummm!

💰 Pricing: Honestly, the pricing was very reasonable for the portions and quality. Nothing felt overpriced and the menu has tonssssss of options – pastas, pizzas, Chinese starters n fries rice, noodles, momos, shakes, hot n cold beverages, desserts, waffles, sandwiches, wraps – you name it!

I recently visited THE CHOCOLATE ROOM and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is modern yet cozy, with comfortable seating and soft lighting that makes it the perfect place to relax, work, or catch up with friends.

The coffee is absolutely fantastic! I tried their cappuccino, and it was perfectly balanced with a rich, smooth flavor and a delightful froth. They also have a wide variety of other drinks, including specialty lattes and teas. The baristas are clearly passionate about their craft and take the time to make each cup just right.

One of the highlights for me was the selection of fresh pastries and snacks. I highly recommend trying the chocolate BOMB, which is a must try in here.
