Serious Food Safety Concern – Unacceptable Quality and Indifference
I had lunch at this restaurant and paid ₹1400 for two people. What I received in return was not just disappointing—it was alarming. The fried chicken served to us had visible blood inside. When I brought this to the staff’s attention, their response was completely unprofessional and dismissive.
The chef came out, stood near the next table, looked at our plate without engaging, and simply walked away. After I raised the issue again, they took the same piece, re-fried it, and returned it—now drenched in oil and completely inedible. There was no apology, no accountability, and no sense of concern for the seriousness of the issue.
What kind of food safety protocols are in place here? How can visibly undercooked chicken be allowed to leave the kitchen? What if this was served to a child in a sauced dish like Korean chicken where the blood isn’t visible?
Restaurants deal with people’s health. You don’t just serve food—you take responsibility for its safety. If you are incapable of handling that responsibility, you shouldn’t be in this business.
To add insult to injury, payment is collected before the food is served—clearly a tactic to prevent people from refusing to pay once they see what’s actually on their plate.
I chose to handle the situation calmly and respectfully, but let me be very clear: my patience should not be mistaken for ignorance or tolerance. Respecting your establishment doesn’t mean I accept being served substandard, unsafe food.
This is the first time I’ve ever left a negative review—and I’m doing so only because this was not just bad service, it was a serious lapse in basic hygiene, quality, and customer care. I hope the management reflects on this feedback seriously. No one should have to pay for such negligence—with their money or...
Read more12/JUL/25 I visited this restaurant on a Saturday night, despite poor reviews, hoping for decent food. The ordering system was chaotic—QR codes on tables led to a clunky process, Order numbers appeared briefly on multiple screens, making it hard to track. The LCD display showed three-digit numbers, but our four-digit order number caused confusion.
The ambience itself was good, chairs felt premium and table was at the right height making it comfortable to eat. There’s a high table section in the middle, we avoided sitting there.
When we picked up our order, not all items were ready, yet it was marked as ready. The self-service setup, unlike smoother systems at other restaurants, felt disorganized.
The chicken dynamite was stone-cold; when I asked staff to reheat it, they blamed the AC and claimed we left it too long and tried shifting the blame towards us but eventually complied after I insisted.
The food was disappointing. The fried chicken and pizza were excessively oily, the chicken dynamite lacked flavour and the spring rolls were mediocre.
Overall, the experience was subpar. As a new establishment, they need to refine their operations and possibly hire a new chef. I’d consider retrying in a few months, hoping for improvements. CBE deserves more late night restaurants.
PS: please turn down the goddamn music volume, they were playing some English songs which I don’t mind but just annoying. Probably some lofi beats could...
Read moreTerminal 2 Café truly impresses with its awesome ambience and modern infrastructure. The design and layout of the space give you a premium feel, making it a perfect spot to sit back and relax. The interiors are well thought out, with cozy seating and aesthetic lighting that creates a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick coffee or spending time with friends, the vibe here feels refreshing and upscale.
When it comes to food, it’s quite average. The menu offers all the standard dishes you’d expect, but there isn’t anything that stands out as unique or innovative. The taste is decent and fills the need for a quick bite, but if you’re looking for something extraordinary or full of flavour, you might be slightly disappointed. A little more creativity in the menu could really take this place to the next level.
One major area that needs improvement is their service. The staff are polite, but the speed of service is far too slow. Orders take longer than expected, even during less crowded hours, which can be frustrating if you’re in a hurry.
Overall, Terminal 2 Café has the potential to become a favourite hangout spot thanks to its stunning ambience and setup. However, better food quality and faster service would make the experience truly satisfying. It’s worth visiting for the vibe, but don’t go in expecting exceptional dishes or...
