NOT SO GOOD Experience !
Greetings! First of all, Sorry for the negative review. I do not have a habit of reviewing online rather I used to appreciate the experience in restaurant to respective stewards or sort ot the negatives directly to them. First time ever writing a review in google that too a negative one. If you have patience read, it else feel free to ignore. I have been to most restaurants in CBE especially to Kerala cuisine ones. On hearing, my colleagues boast about the restaurant, I took my friends for lunch. They welcomed us pretty well and ambience was good too. We ordered Fish meals that costed 350+GST for each person. They serve appam as complimentary which they served for few and for other members we need to wait for 20 mins and ask multiple times. Prawns are the best in town, which I cannot deny, and with Fish koliwada.
The waitron who served us seems like he has no interest to work over there and was not responding properly as he was like why we came there to dine. Fish policathu was very tiny and little bitter too and gravies were not hot and blunt. You may call us we have bad taste, but we tasted in ente keralam and Haribhavan which are too less in price and high in quality. The person who served us did not even served appalam, poriyal we thought it may be part of only veg meals. Later we asked that person and he said poriyal is part of fishmeals as well but he forgot in rush. Hey come on, we pay 350+taxes for a normal fishmeal but you say carelessly that you forgot. Restaurant may be for the higher class of the society but definitely not pocket friendly for normal people who wish to have an authentic Kerala meal.
There was a well-dressed gentlemen hope he should be the owner / floor supervisor of the restaurant roaming around but he did not care to ask us the problem. He inquired about the taste and experience in all tables except ours since he knew the problem happened here. This is the reason for reviewing here; if they could asked us then it would have been sorted out there itself.
Please educate your staffs on customer handling which is too important in hospitality industry. Hope you take this as a positive criticism and ask reviews with everyone and not only to the ones whom you feel they provide...
Read moreHey buddies, I am writing my honest review of neydhal the coast after we're done with our lunch today. I am in between words on how to express our experiences that we had. BTW I am the one among you (foodie / food explorer). Lemme take you through the whole experience that we had.
Parking for four and two wheelers are completely arranged and assisted The theme of the restaurant sounds and looks like we are in the ship that you can feel while claiming the stair case The dinning hall atmosphere was quite modern but still it is an ascetic feel Since we visited suddenly on Sunday (busy lunch time) , there was low seating availability but we got our table in lower waiting time. I believe it happened due to Sunday, not sure about weekdays. I would recommend checking and pre booking your table to have a joyful experience with your friends and family. The waiters and suppliers were keen and pampered us their family, not a guest or customer either. The menu card grasped our attention to know more about the dishes and the waiter clearly explained how they made the particular dish. Of course, mouthwatering. Ha ha ha We ordered a bowl of crab soup, then on the starters side (butter prawns pepper garlic, alfagam peri peri chicken, fish fingers) and our master plan to have an empty briyani to accompany all the starters along with. Finally, a classic kunafa and Pineapple flavoured mocktail. I strongly believe that restaurants and the team have more challenging responsibility to fulfill the foodies expectations and their stomach. Hurray! Neydhal the coast did it. Of course, I am not a cook or chef to detail the nuances, but rest assured they didn't let down our hope on all the dishes we ordered. Finally on the rating/review wise neydhal the coast is our top finest most recommended in our bucket list. Butter prawns pepper garlic and alfaham peri peri chicken flavours we fall in.
Funny side, me and my friend were thinking of joining their apprentice if they accommodate our salary via our food that we are going to have for 3 times a day for our lifetime.
Thoroughly enjoyed! Pakka Paisa vasool! Royal salute....
