I have been a patron of their custard apple cream, and been ordering it via Swiggy for the longest time. Yet yesterday was the first time I visited this place and got an opportunity to spend some time there. The place was empty on a Monday evening, which is fine. The ambience was good. I went there with my school friends for a catch up, and we ordered a bunch of things on the menu. The Pav Bhaji and Cheese Murukku Sandwich were very average. However, their Rose Falooda, GJ Saraswati juice and Tender Coconut ice cream were delicious.
But what irked me the most was when after eating and drinking, we were just sitting and yapping - which apparently the service guy did not like so much. He comes to us, and asks us to make an another order (like French fries or something) in order to sit for another 30 minutes. Having just had our food, we told him we weren’t hungry anymore but would like to just hang around for a bit. To which he replies that the “owner” of the place doesn’t like guests lingering around, and that we should either leave or order more.
I was flabbergasted. I have never been asked to leave a restaurant. Let alone being forced to order more food! And it was not like we ordered for a glass of water and hung around for free. It was just an hour after arriving into the place! And mind you, the whole place was empty! So it was not like he had to keep the lights and AC on (which was not even working btw) just for us. It was incredibly rude on his part to expect us to leave right after eating. Terrible attitude!
We had a full-blown argument for 5 minutes, before he would leave us alone in peace.
It was really rude and unexpected! What was supposed to be a good meet up with friends ended up becoming a weird experience for all of us. I mean, the whole point of a restaurant is to provide a space for meeting, dining and chilling. I have never come across a restaurant that dictates how much time a guest can stay in their premises in all my years of dining outside.
Will never go back here, just for their...
Read moreGreat ambience, food tastes good, and service is always prompt. Menu could have something more in the way of spicy or hot (as of this writing, vada pav is the only non-sweet item on their list). Prices can be high or reasonable depending on the item you order (a plain apple juice costs almost close to a falooda here).
The item called fruit bowl needs a clear mentioning that it has no ice cream or the waiter should mention that. This item is placed under the category of fruit with ice creams. A friend of mine, who was new to the place, ordered the fruit bowl thinking it has ice cream (because it’s listed under that category) and when he received just a bowl of fruits, he was understandably...

The interior is beautifully designed with cozy seating arrangements and a relaxed vibe, perfect for reading or working. The menu is diverse, with a great selection of drinks, snacks, and hearty meals. I tried their signature cappuccino and a slice of chocolate cake, and both were absolutely delicious. The baristas are skilled, and you can taste the quality in every sip. What I love most is the attention to detail and the personal touch the staff adds to your experience. Highly...
