Darling Namma Veedu — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Today wasOne of the Worst experiences I have ever faced in any restaurant. I am a regular customer at this restaurant for almost 4 years now . To be honest Food, Service, Ambience and everything were fantastic.

But Today as we were dining at a table spotted a RAT in the nearby empty Table. Shocked. Immediately called the waiter and informed him. He laughed and went off. Then I asked for the incharge person. Supervisor Mr. Kumar came and asked whats the issue .

ONE OF THE MOST ARROGANT PERSONS. When I told there is a RAT he simply said "Its usual to spot such things. Being a Localite you should understand". I was confused hearing such a reply. I stressed there is a RAT running around the table nearby and you are answering like this. He again said the exact same thing. "such things are common Why making it an issue".

I immediately asked to give the owner's number for which he replied" owner and all will neither give his number not attend the calls" Furious to the core I confronted him for answering in such a way and sure He didnt even care about it.

I have been ordering Idli for my kids regularly. Today it gave me fear what will be the condition insided the Kitchen.

I am not sure whether this was an One off incident or been happening regularly. But People like Mr. Kumar must be sacked immediately who didnt the courtesy or the heart to even realise the magnitude of the issue and the health complications one could suffer because of Hygiene.

I dont know whether 'DARLING GROUP' will even read my complaint But I seriously wish some serious raids and Inspections should be done by the Health...

BEWARE!!

Darling Namma Veedu is running a scam and fooling customers with their Spl Non Veg Meals item. The waiter suggested for Spl. Non Veg Meals and we ordered one. There were many items kept in the Spl Non Veg Thali but none were too good in taste to mention and the quantity was too less. The sides like prawn, mutton given would be worth 20 Rs. When we asked the waiter if they will refill the sides they refused and informed only gravy items will be offered extra.

When the bill arrived we were literally shocked to see the Spl. Non Veg Meals priced at Rs. 550 + taxes

You will not find Special Non Veg Meals in their menu card. Normal Non. Veg Meals is priced at Rs. 160 whereas the Spl. Non Veg Meals is priced at Rs. 550 almost four times the cost of a normal Non Veg Meals. The spl meals is absolutely worthless for the price and value they offer. Pls don't make a fool of the customers. I would rather eat a non veg buffet at a decent restaurant for Rs. 550

Darling Namma Veedu management, if a middle class person comes and orders this spl non veg meals unknowingly. You are simply looting his money and he will never ever step into you restaurant again. And remember to cater to all class of people.

Do not hide an item in your menu and push it to the customers. I was able to see many dissatisfied customers after seeing the bill. Stop this SCAM...

I rarely give a 5 star to the places I visit. But this place located in the middle of the Green circle in Vellore deserves it. From the entrance till the washroom every nook and corner of this wonderful place is lit. The staff and the security are super helpful. The ambience is wonderful. We ordered the following from here: Mutton Nalli roast Chicken tawa roast Nandu caravan Vanjaram manchurian Butter kulcha Butter naan

The taste of each and every one of these dishes were exceptional , not the mention the quality of the food too. Seeing the bill i thought I'll have to sell my kidney too. And the oil was also a little too much, but for the taste that was essential I guess. Hope my cholesterol levels do not protest against me.But jokes apart the quality and quantity was worth the high rates the offered. One suggestion for the nandu varaval, the spices hadn't gone into the core of the crab, maybe thats should be looked into.
