Extremely shocking experience.
Note: the menu doesn't differentiate dishes using red/green/yellow dots. They think it's not necessary to showcase this.
We as a group of 12 visited Faruuzi, Urapakkam on 6th Oct'23 for lunch. The group had 5 vegetarians and 7 non-vegetarians. In Veg, we ordered Fries, paneer tikka, gobi 65 and Crispy corn. The corn had a weird smell so we asked if it had egg. The answer was 'yes, we add egg white for binding'. When asked for why it was not intimated anywhere in the menu, they said they will bring one without egg. We moved on (it was unpleasant and shocking for us, but we didn't want to spoil the mood ). Then came another guy (name: unknown, profession: upsetting customers giving no value or respect to their preference. Not sure why he was sent in the first place. was wearing a white shirt and has a beard) . He went on rambling about how 'EGG IS A VEGETARIAN' and that he'd challenge us and prove that EGG IS VEGETARIAN. And started giving gyan on Vegan! They apparently add egg in everything you name -french fries, Naan, Crispy corn etc. He, without an iota of remorse, said "if you want, you need to ask for the dishes to be prepared without Egg". Blindly passed the onus to us. He was unempathetic, arrogant, with absolutely no respect for customers. I still wonder why he was even sent to us. Because we moved on, and he just came and escalated everything to the worst possible level. Also, he had the audacity to mention that Sangeetha restaurant too adds egg in their naan dough. We said we do not want to continue eating here anymore, and he absolutely had no problem with it, no apologies nothing.
Now, my question is , Is your management running restaurant to showcase your personal opinions/beliefs or do you even care what the customer wants? Not all of us treat egg as vegetarian and if at all you know the demographics of where you operate from , this is a tamil month called Puratasi where even some of the meat eaters refrain from having meat and egg. If you do not want vegetarians to come eat at your restaurant, please inform that and indicate it via your menu. Do not shove your opinions and cooking style down our throat.
We used to enjoy coming here as well as the Chrompet branch and now it has become the last time for us to ever come here. Management should warn such employees (not sure if he's the management! If so, no one can help Faruuzi!! ) and train them on how to de-escalate issues. Hire a menu designer and set right your menu first. Add egg, beef, pork or whatever the hell you want in any dish. But know that you have a responsibility to keep your customers informed about it. You are truly an awful bunch! Goodbye .

Ambiance/Price: One of the better spots on the highway with sufficient parking space by the service lane, good seating space, and courteous service. But what needs to be improved is hygiene since I've seen insects (different ones) flying from the seats to the chairs a lot of times. Though the prices were fine, the dining experience had...
