Food: Sweet corn chicken soup - Thick slurpy broth with Sweet Corn topped with Chicken; not glassy but smooth and extra pepper is kicky πŸ‘Œ BBQ Chicken - Had thigh and a leg piece that was barbecued, char-grilled for the smoky flavor; BEST when hot but as it turns cold, the skin got harder and wasn't as succulent as it could've been πŸ˜‘ Chilli lamb - Hint of both sweet and sour taste to it; it was fragrant from the onions and gravy coated well on top; tender and appetizing πŸ€— Kozi Dejaj - An Arabian saffron rice with a grilled chicken on top of it; for a person with an avid love for Biryani, Dejaj was different. It was plain, and the meat was the only saving grace πŸ‘ Egg fried rice - Typical egg rice which goes well with green chili sauce Moroccan dejaj - Moroccan chicken stewed deep with special Moroccan spice mix along with the aromatics; much better than the BBQ since this was off-track, juicy, and filling πŸ˜‹ Roti with pepper chicken - Succulent chicken roasted in loads of pepper and masala; the gravy aided well for the roti and the meat was tender to munch on!! πŸ™Œ Stuffed garlic Naan with egg roast - Spicy roasted egg masala made with thick gravy in a blend of coconut, onion, ginger, and Kerala spices, WOW!! Sour and spicy and tummy-filling with the so-soft garlic naan ☺️ Ambiance/Price: One of the better spots on the highway with sufficient parking space by the service lane, good seating space, and courteous service. But what needs to be improved is hygiene since I've seen insects (different ones) flying from the seats to the chairs a lot of times. Though the prices were fine, the dining experience had to be pleasant

Faruuzi is one of the good Restaurants in Urapakkam Locality. The Ambience was neat and pleasing. Their Kerala Parotta and Dragon Paneer are must try foods. Brownie with Icecream and Falooda are their signature desserts. We visited the restaurant recently as a Team. The food was good. Garlic Naan was good. Mushroom Masala was a bit average. The taste was not upto the mark. Dragon Paneer was lip smacking. Paneer Tikka was good but it was not marinated properly and it tasted a little bland. Service could be improved. The serving time of the dishes was very delayed. They didn't give proper attention to that. Even the starters were served only after 30 minutes of placing the order. The good thing is that they offer discounts for corporate people. If you are from a corporate company, you can receive some offers upon showing your ID card. Overall it is a decent restaurant to visit.

I had tried 2-3 times via zomato delivery and on the 3 occasions food was delivered delay with prior notification on delay delivery, Tried Chicken dum biryani - it wasnt upto the mark however ok stuff, some may not like this spicy taste. another time ordered full tandoori - Surprise to see that it just came in 2 fried rice silver foil boxes, not sure if these chickens were grown without food.. How they are able to fit the full chicken in just 2 boxes. VERY LESS QUANTITY = OUALITY SOMEHOW OKKK... Totally unhappy with the packaging of such restaurants, even small shops has better packaging - unhappy with food proportions and and taste. May be try once restaurant for some how good ambience with steepy steps to climb ( not recommended for aged people to climb stairs) and not parking freindly place. adding 2nd star only for inside ambience not for food.

Would have given 0 stars, if possible.

Extremely shocking experience.

Note: the menu doesn't differentiate dishes using red/green/yellow dots. They think it's not necessary to showcase this.

We as a group of 12 visited Faruuzi, Urapakkam on 6th Oct'23 for lunch. The group had 5 vegetarians and 7 non-vegetarians. In Veg, we ordered Fries, paneer tikka, gobi 65 and Crispy corn. The corn had a weird smell so we asked if it had egg. The answer was 'yes, we add egg white for binding'. When asked for why it was not intimated anywhere in the menu, they said they will bring one without egg. We moved on (it was unpleasant and shocking for us, but we didn't want to spoil the mood ). Then came another guy (name: unknown, profession: upsetting customers giving no value or respect to their preference. Not sure why he was sent in the first place. was wearing a white shirt and has a beard) . He went on rambling about how 'EGG IS A VEGETARIAN' and that he'd challenge us and prove that EGG IS VEGETARIAN. And started giving gyan on Vegan! They apparently add egg in everything you name -french fries, Naan, Crispy corn etc. He, without an iota of remorse, said "if you want, you need to ask for the dishes to be prepared without Egg". Blindly passed the onus to us. He was unempathetic, arrogant, with absolutely no respect for customers. I still wonder why he was even sent to us. Because we moved on, and he just came and escalated everything to the worst possible level. Also, he had the audacity to mention that Sangeetha restaurant too adds egg in their naan dough. We said we do not want to continue eating here anymore, and he absolutely had no problem with it, no apologies nothing.

Now, my question is , Is your management running restaurant to showcase your personal opinions/beliefs or do you even care what the customer wants? Not all of us treat egg as vegetarian and if at all you know the demographics of where you operate from , this is a tamil month called Puratasi where even some of the meat eaters refrain from having meat and egg. If you do not want vegetarians to come eat at your restaurant, please inform that and indicate it via your menu. Do not shove your opinions and cooking style down our throat.

We used to enjoy coming here as well as the Chrompet branch and now it has become the last time for us to ever come here. Management should warn such employees (not sure if he's the management! If so, no one can help Faruuzi!! ) and train them on how to de-escalate issues. Hire a menu designer and set right your menu first. Add egg, beef, pork or whatever the hell you want in any dish. But know that you have a responsibility to keep your customers informed about it. You are truly an awful bunch! Goodbye .
