Disappointed with Parking Policy and Staff Behavior
I recently visited Bukhari Hotel in Chennai and was extremely disappointed with the experience, especially regarding their parking policy and the behavior of the parking staff. I went there on a two-wheeler, but the parking watchman rudely denied me a spot, saying parking is only allowed for four-wheelers. This is unfair and discriminatory. If two-wheelers are not allowed, it should be clearly mentioned outside or on the hotel’s website.
What made it worse is that the watchman was not only rude but also didn’t provide a proper explanation. We were left to park elsewhere, far from the hotel, which was very inconvenient and unsafe. While they seem to happily accommodate four-wheelers and even collect money from them, two-wheeler customers like us are treated with no respect. This kind of treatment makes it feel like two-wheeler riders are not valued as customers.
Hotels should treat all customers equally, regardless of the vehicle they use. Bukhari Hotel has multiple branches in Chennai, and I hope this kind of experience is not common at all of them. The hotel management must take this seriously and ensure that their staff are trained to treat all customers with dignity and respect.
I’m leaving this review so that others are aware and don’t face the same trouble we did. I hope the management sees this and takes corrective action. If they want to build trust with their customers, they need to be fair and transparent, especially when it comes to basic amenities...
Read moreWorst Experience. First i visited late, around 2.30pm. But before being seated confirmed about Briyani & service availability as the restuarant was completely empty without any customer. Ordered on confirmation that every thing was available including Briyani.
My order was for a soup, one mutton briyani , one noodles (as my kid wanted) & half grill chicken.
First was given a salty soup in 15 mins.
Then was served with grill chicken in the next 15 mins. A oven reheated stinky chicken with raw oil and chaat masala sprinkled on top with a cold kuppus. Took it lightly as i wanted the main dish for us and kid.
After 45mins of my ordering , the service person came up saying that the Briyani is over and whether we wanted anything else as the noodles is getting ready. All this after 45 mins of my order.
Asked to cancel the orders, but he was insisting that noodles is getting ready. I asked him to bill whatever was served as i don't want to be sitting for dinner for the rest of the items
Atleast he could have come within 5 mins about the non availability as we were the only customer available there and as we got seated only after availablity confirmation.
Too poor...
Read moreI had a disappointing experience at Bukhari Hotel recently. When I arrived on a two-wheeler, the parking watchman refused to allow me to park, saying the parking area is only for four-wheelers. This is completely unfair and discriminatory. As a paying customer, I expected equal treatment, but was shocked that two-wheelers were not allowed at all, even though four-wheelers were freely permitted without any issues.
There was no clear signage or prior information about this restriction, and the way the staff handled the situation was rude and dismissive. It felt like two-wheeler riders are considered second-class customers here. To make things worse, there was no offer to help or provide an alternative parking option nearby.
Hotel management should seriously look into this issue. A customer is a customer, regardless of what vehicle they use. I’m writing this review so that others are aware of the problem, and I sincerely hope the management takes action to prevent such unfair treatment in the future.
This kind of behavior leaves a very bad impression, and I would think twice before visiting any Bukhari Hotel branch again. Very...
