HOT AND COLD VEPERY — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

A small chat shop located inside an old complex in Vepery. Many say that this is the same Hot n Cold in Vepery near G1 that’s now renamed & relocated as Hot n Chill. I’m not sure.

They serve all standard chat items from Pani Puri, Bhel, Sev Puri’s, Breads - Sandwiches, etc. While the taste of most items was pretty good - Tangy, chatpat, spicy and mouth watering. However, the overall experience was very bland and the reasons are as follows -

They don’t display the prices of the items they sell (very bad practice) They use a lot of Mayo to substitute for Cheese (many do it) The attitude of the staff is very cold The price is very high (relative to the quantity)

I’d appeal to the joint owner to look into these aspects and hopefully they can course correct.

A very famous street food outlet which unfortunately is not known to many people in the city.

Hot and Cold is located under Doveton Bridge and at a walkable distance from Virasat hotel and Adarsh Electronic in Vepery.

The bullet starter is a must try. It's a ball of aloo masala filled in a bread. The bullet stuffing includes green chutney, garlic chutney, cheese, onions & sev.

The rates of the food items being served here is very affordable. Both dine in and takeaway facilities are...

Good place to have chat and service is good but location and ambience is not clean and tidy to sit or stand around and have food.

But for chat lovers lot of good variety of chat options...
