"I was very disappointed with my experience at this vegetarian restaurant. The food was bland and tasteless, and the service was slow and indifferent. The staff, who were all Hindi people, did not seem to understand English and Tamil very well, and I had a hard time communicating with them.
I ordered a plate of Pongal, which is a popular Indian dish made with rice and lentils. Cooked in milk and tempered with spices. Served with ghee and curry leaves.
The waiter took a long time to come to our table, and when he did, he seemed annoyed to be taking our order. He also did not bring us any condiments, such as salt or pepper, even though we asked for them.
Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food is bad, the service is slow, and the staff is rude. I would much rather go to a different restaurant that actually cares about...
Read moreOnce some ten/ fifteen years back the hotel made a roaring business . But nowadays it seems deserted . Although it is in a busy locality within a walkable distance from the Gandhipuram Bus Stand , only a few customers can be seen taking meals .
Only Vegetarian. It may also be a reason for it's dwindling customers . The Non vegetarian restaurants can be seen , aplenty , with thronging customers . Public preference for NV meals may be one of the reasons .
Full meals with Kootu, Porial , Applam , Pickle , Sambar , Puli Kolambu , Rasam , Mooru is charged only Rs.90 ....
