Jameen's Restaurant — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Writing this review after my first visit on 5-Jan-2025 Sunday lunch.

After seeing good reviews on the Google. I visited this restaurant on a Sunday noon for lunch.

It was jam packed with a lot of families having their lunch. I went alone and I got seated in their normal dinning hall. They do have AC dining hall too. They serve a wide range of varieties but I have tried few items.

I have started with Chicken Biryani (rs 120) which is made of Basmati rice and it is typical wedding style biryani. It was good in taste. With the combination Brinjal curry the biryani taste went to different levels I liked a lot. They have provided the leg piece as per my request.

Then I ordered pepper chicken with bone(rs 100) which consists of few chicken pieces with pepper masala and onions which is very good in taste and goes well with the biryani. It was spicy while eating alone.

Good part they have. Quarter concept in gril and tandoori. So I have ordered Quarter Grill chicken (rs 100) which had two big pieces which is nominal for the charge. Chicken was grilled well it was soft and goes well with the mayonnaise and green chutney provided.

Then I ordered ginger soda( rs 30) and bread halwa(rs 30). Bread halwa was okish could be better.

Realised all the positive reviews here are all fake ones after trying dinner yesterday. Every single thing we had was a disaster. A tasteless overcooked tomato rice kinda briyani. Max max 100ml naatukozhi gravy that has only with skin ,bones, elbows for which they charge around 200. A dry naan which can even cut your fingers. And the most dangerous where their shawarma. They provide 5 to 6 variants of flavoured shawarma which all taste almost the same but horrible. Guess what those shawarma made our stomach upset the next morning and we had mild stomach ache we were almost near food poisioning. Tandoori was average. Too much hype. Not worth visiting. Don't think that price is less so let's try, it's your precious time and expectation of food satisfaction will be a big question ⁉️ instagram reels will make you visit the place just order their boneless chilli chicken 🐔 then you can realise the quality of food offered there. I tried their signature boneless Chilli chicken was so hard and chunky, it got burnt due to over heat of the oil, crab lollipop was below average, kulcha was just ok, chicken dopyasa gravy was ok, chicken noodles was so dry and the noodles was overcooked so it's big and got spunky smell.
