Kohinoor Hotels — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

This place is around 2.5 kms from Erode railway station and is situated well amidst shops where you can shop. For the stay I highly recommend this place as it was very clean and well maintained. I initially planned to stay just for one night but then extended to two for personal reasons luckily the hotel staff were able to accomodate my request. The place also has a restaurant attached to it where you can always go for your meals. Their breakfast was awesome and I suggest you take the meal package with the stay to save on your budget as the a la carte feels a bit pricey. Their rooms were well maintained and cozy and has all necessary amenities. You get free wi-fi though connectivity at times lags a bit but still functional. They provide toiletries and newspapers on a daily basis and the staff are very responsive and curt. You can reach out to them in case of any issues and they immediately address it. For me the requests were just getting drinking water bottles as I found no other flaw in my room or stay. They have hot water and shower facilities on demand 24/7 at the ease of a switch in your room which I liked very much as most inns near by only provide hot water commonly at specified timings (mostly during morning and evening). My wife Stayed for a day at the hotel. Upon checking in she was informed that the restaurant was in repairs and maintanence...and hence the breakfast would have to be purchased from outside...this should have been informed at the time of booking itself. Not at the time when one is checking in and then finding that the restaurant is not up.....anyways post checking upon ordering a cup of coffee she was give a coffee which was spoilt. The milk had curdled. For a passenger who had travelled and arrive early morning such experiences are not welcoming. Upon her asking to change the coffee she was given another one which was just ok .the rooms were neat though....the site shows free breakfast ...don't go by that. Not sure if it's up....while checking out next day morning coffee was ordered. It was a surprise to see the amount of rs.30 billed to the total....its not the question of the amount but she was informed that only one day the breakfast was free. ..my wife had already informed that she does not need breakfast the following day, but she was surprised to see the attitude of the staff....while the payment was done it did not leave a good impact ....don't recommend...

Good location, this hotel being in a central location. Close to markets. The Administration Manager was very friendly, eager to help with information about city, market, tourist places nearby etc. But the rooms and facilities need a good facelift. We two families stayed for one night and could a lot should be done to enhance tourist convenience.... The room (6 and 7...?, Not sure of the number now. But in thevthird floor) was stuffy. Poor ventilation as the only window opened to a huge wall of adjacent building... Hot water was available but the towels and bed linens were crumpled and looked old & unclean.... Window AC worked well. The room service part was very poor. In the morning, just for a glass of hot water, we had to call Room Service and Reception several times... It arrived after one hour! Complimentary breakfast is an assorted type, one may not like it so much. But hot pooris were given. Wevwere told by the front desk assistant that the restarting will open only at 8 am.... So, don't depend on our of you have to check out early or move put early for...
