Nagercoil Ananda Bhavan (Vadasery) — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Let me write this in detail...We were on our way back from Mysore and travelling back to home town Trivandrum. Thats when we ended up here . We reached here around 8:45pm. Since there was not much traffic outside the shop at that point of time, found a parking site opposite and hotel looked good from outside I thought this could be a good place to relax and eat. We ordered chappati and Fried rice. The waiter told idli will take more than 10 min and to my surprise I asked so will fried rice will be faster? He may not have understood my question..he went away ...then ahhh..we waited almost 30 min...my patience was tested to limit and I asked waiter can you atleast give us cups to drink since we are waiting 20-30 min ..water was there luckily..by my voice change he understood the tension in air and gave us fried rice..then I asked; will chappati come tomorrow...yes I was rude...then he ran and got that as well maybe after 5 min.. Now lastly food tasted average...felt as horrible since I was already at bad mood..

If you wish to get better food and on time please better look...

I went to this restaurant in may 2024 at that time service was very good and staffs were also very good like nella madam, sujin sir, chandra sir ane particular team was doing good not only for me for everyone but now a days they all went and the service is tooo tooooooo much worst. The present team is not giving proper response for any customer in phone and in person. Today morning i went their at around 8: 20am i ordered for 3 coffee, 2vada and 4 idily parcel and gave flask too they told it may take some time i was waiting 9:00am no response. After that the same person came and told like no coffee today its busy and even i didnt get any parcel too. This was the response given by their staff has a regular customer. This not frist time from last one month i am facing the same problem. Even in a small shops nearby reponds the customer well but here i am totally dis appointed and wasted of...

Anantha Bhavan boasts an extensive menu with a variety of dishes, but unfortunately, the quality fails to match the ambition. I recently ordered the ghee podi onion uthappam, and was sorely disappointed. It was served with raw onions, which detracted from the flavor and overall experience. The taste of the uthappam itself was below average, lacking the depth and richness expected from a dish of this nature. Despite the premium pricing, the quality of the food simply doesn't justify the cost. Furthermore, the management seems to be lacking, with long waiting times observed even with minimal crowds. To make matters worse, I encountered instances of last-minute unavailability of menu items, which is unacceptable. Recommendation: I cannot recommend Anantha Bhavan based on my recent experience.
