Visited this hotel on 7th December, 2021. Worst hospitability i have faced in any hotels. They make us book rooms with lies. Once u question them, they go to the extent of using curses and abusive words. Never have i felt such experience in any other premium hotels I have attached below the type of rooms available in the hotel. Before booking the rooms, i was shown the rooms by the hotel staff.i preferred a deluxe room and they showed one and they specifically mentioned that it would come with a king size bed. So i paid for the room. But the room they gave me didnt have a king size bed . When i questioned the hotel staff, their response was that they would provide king size bed only to family and not to bachelors in a disrespectful manner. The hotel staff should have provided this information beforehand and this was not mentioned anywhere in the attached brochure. This issue may be a trivial one, i could àdjust without a king size bed. But what hurt me the most was the disrespectful gestures, manners and abusive words (to the extent of curses) used by the hoyel staff. Never had i experienced this in any other hotels. We got take away yesterday to celebrate. The overall food experience was mediocre at best.

We enjoyed the starters - Tandoori Chicken, Kothu kozhi, and Crab Lollipop. The breads, Butter Naan & Kerala Parotta, and the sides Chicken Rara were good & met the expectation for taste, portion & quality.

The rice dishes were stale & terrible - we had Plain Biriyani & Cashew Pulao; both the items spoiled the overall experience. It is understandable that Biriyani is not prepared fresh for every order, but the expectation is that a fine dining restaurant of Sahana Castle's repute will not serve stale food. We could have ordered something else on the menu if they had indicated that Biriyani won't be fresh. A similar experience was felt while eating the Cashew Pulao, the taste & presentation significantly below par.
