Pizza Hut | Thoraipakkam, Chennai — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I visited the Pizza Hut located in Thoraipakkam today (4 apr 2024) at around 1.45pm. I placed my order and was waiting for my food to be served. That's when another family came in. They weren't appropriately dressed for the location which I don't mind because any business should treat all their customers alike. They placed the order and from where I could see, they did not make any payment. Further, their little kids were running in the dining area and tried to enter the kitchen area. Then the grandmother of the kids yelled at the kids and cautioned the kids not to go there since "cameras will be installed in that area". That's when I realised they are the relatives of the staff there. One of the kids was standing there butt naked. I asked myself the question " from when did Pizza Hut start entertaining/encouraging these things?". And we felt that the entire family kept looking at us the whole time as we were dining. A premium restaurant like Pizza Hut charges a heavy amount for the food as well as the ambience. This entire experience is making me question both the food quality as well as the ambience. I will never return to this location. I would recommend the store manager to review the CCTV cameras during that time and do proper investigation. If not, you will start losing more customers. This not only impacts your location. You are representing a chain of restaurants "Pizza Hut*. You are taking them down with you

A sincere request to the staff - I definitely support offering free food. But you could have made the food and delivered the food yourself (of course with the permission from your management). Bringing them to the dining area in my opinion...

Never come here if you want to have good food.

Also, I can provide more detail here. We dined in on that day and ordered 1 Margherita pizza, jalapeños poppers and 1 Mirinda bottle. I am not going to complain on the AC, as they might not have turned it with little to no customers on that day. But the tables were so sticky, as if they had never been cleaned, so were the cutlery provided on the table. To top it off, jalapeños poppers were disgusting. Even though I ordered Mirinda bottle, I was given a small glass of Mirinda, and I dont want to comment on the pizza, as it was the worst pizza I have ever tasted in my life. Even I make better...

I have visited pizza hut thoraipakkam on 16/3/2025.We have ordered a pizza and exotica veggie loaded garlic bread.They didn't mention that olive was over in our store prior.After receiving order i have enquired that they didn't put olives in garlic bread.They didn't have courtesy to apologise also.They are replying like rest of the veggies are present right.They didn't serve a tissue paper,fork,or even a glass of water.If we enquire all those things their reply was we won't serve all those in two chair seated customer chair.They why they are having those chairs?!Really a terrible experience from a reputed food supply chain.Higher authorities kindly look into the issue if you people don't,the brand only get a bad impression.No apologising,no customer friendly,no clean atmosphere, lack of support from front end service peoples.
