The Big Barbeque - Buffet - Chennai - OMR — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

PATHETIC One of the most pathetic restaurants I have every been to. Everything was wrong when we visited as family of 4. I've been to Absolute bbq, Bbq nation, coal bbq, 3Bs and many other bbq resturants in Chennai, Bangalore, Hyd and Coimbatore. But this is the most disgusting experience.

Hygeine: Resturant is not cleanly maintained. Right from table, Chair, kids chair, cutlery, Soup bowls to Water glasses were not cleaned good. We had to use tissue paper to clean. Washrooms did not have water. There were water dripping from celing in the center and creating puddle. Their water was bad, so we asked for botted water. But they do not have that as well. Almost 90% of their plates are broken.

Ambience: We usually dine out for better experience. But it's completely bad here. Have you been to a bbq restaurant which does not have AC? They use pedestal fans shared for 4 tables. Absolutely bad experience with our kids. They do not have wallet parking and no good parking space as well. For any item we ask - be it an extra spoon or starter refill or roti or pizza we had to literally wait for 15 mins after 2 reminders. Even for bill we had to wait for 20 mins.

Food: Welcome drink was just a water with sugar syrup. Almost all tables did not even taste half. Starters were good initially. But when we asked for refill, the quality we got was not great. They do not have menu card, when we compared with online menu, almost 4 to 5 starters were not served to us.

Main course was too bad. A wise man once said, if a resturant does not know how to make curd rice, then it's not a restaurant at all. This is a classic example for that. Their curd rice was using old curd. Biryani was just masala rice. Fried rice, noodles were just average.

Desserts: online menu has 12 desserts, but they have only 6 desserts and upon asked to refill, everyone were pointing fingers at others. No one filled it till the end. We have to leave without even knowing who can refill. Ice creams were almost liquid. They were very much understaffed. Their wish grill, Jalebi stalls were not attended by anyone.

Over-all this restaurant is completely waste of money. Please do not go there.

To the Resturant: if you would like to take this business seriously, customer satisfaction should be...

It is located in a prime location, easily accessible. We went as a group of 7 people, 4 veg and 3 non veg. The restaurant is in the first floor. Once you open the door, you will be amazed for sure if you are visiting the first time. We were... The look and feel is very good, they try to make it feel like a club with dancing floor and DJ on the top. The lighting, colours and the walls were great. Actually it can occupy nearly 100 people at once. Its that big, like a mini party hall. But at times you may feel that's bad as well. You will not have places to walk and at times, you have to wait for the other person to cross. You will have to cross over the tables in between to get the dishes. They tried to maximum utilize the place. You have a small DJ setup at the top where you can dance, focused by a blue light. Kind of a bar. And when they keep the heat pot at your tables, you will feel the heat. There is not much of a place for the air flow. Within minutes you will feel sweating. So, coming to the food. It was okay to me. It was like any other barbeque. Not much of a variety for veg people, just the usual. Some different items I noticed overall is aapam, ragi kalli, octapus (not squid) which is quite unusual. They have wide spread the varieties. You have to wait for some time for the starters to come in since this place is always crowded. Heard from my group that main course is good, starters you will feel spicy. Their service is okay. Even if you ask something in English, they will reply something random in Hindi and move on. And what you ask wouldn't come and not on time. Pros - Ambience, big group can enjoy, dancing floor, unique dishes. Cons - Okay taste, space crunch, no air flow,...

First ever visited here with my team members. First we are impressed by the Name BB and our expectation are also Big. However, we were finally had a Big Big disappointment only. Food: Taste and quality wise is not at all good. I felt very bad and whole team members are totally disappointed. Besides,we are not much impressed with the menu they have got. They got very very limited starters apart from usual grill prawn 🍤, chicken 🍗, and fish 🐟, they haven't served anything to us and multiple times told them to bring drumstick tandoori, sheek kebab and other stuff. They haven't served to us instead they keep bringing pineapple and watermelon. No live counter also.

Ambience: Not impressive comparatively with other competitors. Here they can accomodate 200+ nos.

Customer Service: Not at all impressive. They are not bringing what we are asking instead they bring what we really not asked. They should be well prepared to meet the expectation from the customer needs.

Ratings: A person from the service crew will approach each one of us to give 5 star rating on spot. Really this approach is very bad and mostly in front of them we hesitate to give low ratings instead we give 5 ratings in Google review. Kindly don't give review on spot and we are misguiding the other customers who really prefer to book hotels based on Google review.

Manager should visit every table and make ensure customers are satisfied and have they got what they have asked for. Management should look into this issues seriously and improvise. If you like my review. Press a like...
