The most horrible service was provided by this person named Ishwarya. Right from taking the order, she had such a bad attitude. My husband and I visited on Monday evening and there were just two other customers who were there apart from us. They placed the order before us and received it in around 15 minutes. But even after waiting 45 minutes our order was not ready. When I went to check, Ishwarya had the most horrible attitude and almost shouted at me, saying it was getting ready. I told her I've been waiting for so long, but she just turned around without answering me. I stood at the counter for 5 minutes to watch her very slowly prepare 2 coffees, one garlic bread, and heat us 2 croissants. At this point, I got angry and told her she needs to hurry up or atleast serve the croissant since it's ready-made, but she didn't answer me. I was getting so angry at this apathetic behavior and demanded a refund. For this, she shouted at me, saying there's no cash. What kind of answer is this?
At this point, the housekeeping person came and apologized on her behalf and said, "She's like that only." But still, Ishwarya could not be bothered in the least. I really got angry and asked to speak to the manager. Ishwarya coolly dialed the manager's number and handed me the phone. The manager also profusely apologized and said, "She's like that only." What I don't understand is if they know she's a bad worker with a terrible attitude, why has she been left alone to handle paying costumers? My husband mentioned at this point that we've left our months old baby at home and came for a doctor's appointment and thought of having a quick coffee before returning home. Again, only the housekeeping person kept apologizing. Ishwarya slowly continued making the order without even caring. Finally, she came and threw the coffee and food on our table and walked away without even saying which coffee is which. When I asked her, she again didn't care. One of the croissants was cold, so I took it over to reheat, and she shouted at me again - "it is hot you are lying on purpose. I will not heat it" and just turned around. I sincerely couldn't believe my eyes and ears that I'm being treated in a ccd like this. We were so upset that we left without having anything we ordered.
I have been a loyal customer of ccd for years and visited so many branches. Even the ones in the remote highways have such good service, but here it was insult after insult.
My husband and I stay close by and used to regularly visit this branch and take our friends here. I'm never returning here, and i advise the management to train their staff better if they don't want other customers...

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this outlet today, and I feel the need to highlight the unprofessional and unacceptable behavior I encountered.
I visited the café for a business meeting and placed an order for coffee and Panner rolls. After the order was completed, an employee named Aishwarya (not sure if she is the manager) mistakenly selected cash payment mode and asked me to pay in cash. I politely informed her that I didn’t have cash with me.
What happened next was shocking and completely unacceptable.
In the middle of my meeting, another staff member named Jagan approached me and demanded that I make the payment through UPI. His tone was extremely rude, as if he had the right to order me instead of simply requesting it properly. Let me be very clear—I am a customer, and they are running a business that makes revenue from us. The least they can do is show basic respect instead of behaving as if they are doing me a favor.
When I agreed to pay via UPI, I asked for their official QR code to make the transaction. Shockingly, they refused to provide a QR code and instead gave me only a phone number. This immediately seemed suspicious and unprofessional. When I insisted on paying through a proper QR code, they refused and kept pushing their phone number for payment, which is highly questionable and untrustworthy.
This is outright unethical behavior and feels like an attempt to scam customers rather than run a professional business. I felt like I was being robbed in broad daylight rather than dining at a reputed café chain.
I will never visit this outlet again in my life.
Message to Café Coffee Day Management:
You already know which outlet this is. You already know that multiple customers have faced similar issues. Yet, instead of taking responsibility and fixing the problem, you keep responding with generic replies, asking customers to "share their phone number" or "email the details"—which is nothing but an excuse to avoid action.
Enough is enough. Fix this issue once and for all. If you genuinely care about your brand reputation, take action against such unethical practices instead of waiting for...

We came all the way from madippakkam just to have a cold coffee , at the billing counter we enquired about all items in the menu and chose cold coffee after 15 mins she said Cold coffess are not available
