Pathetic Service and Cheating in the Name of Unlimited Pizza – Pizza Hut Virugambakkam (Visited on 04-07-2025)

We visited the Pizza Hut Virugambakkam branch on 04-07-2025 for the “unlimited pizza and Pepsi” offer — and it was an absolute disaster.

The first round of pizza was okay — it had proper sauce, cheese, and toppings. But after that, the experience went straight downhill. They force you to eat every bit of the crust without wasting, just to get a second round. After that, they make you wait forever, and when the next pizza finally comes, it’s a thick, dry base with hardly any cheese, sauce, or toppings — total cheating.

The staff behavior was disgusting. One guy with curly hair was extremely rude and arrogant. He spoke with zero respect like he was doing us a favor. Totally unacceptable from a brand like Pizza Hut.

Now let’s talk about the so-called “unlimited Pepsi”. You have to keep begging multiple times for a refill, and when they do bring it, they fill the glass with 90% ice and 10% Pepsi. What a joke!

To top it all off, the air-conditioning wasn’t working properly, and the entire place was hot and uncomfortable.

Pizza Hut seriously needs to audit this branch. The service is pathetic, the attitude is worse, and the food quality in the name of “unlimited” is a total scam.

Dear Pizza Hut Management,

I am appalled and disgusted by the utter incompetence displayed by your staff at the Virugambakkam, Chennai store on June 6, 2025. Our experience was a perfect example of how to drive customers away with poor service and absurd demands.

After waiting 30 minutes for the first plate, we received only 2 refills with delays and no apology. When we asked for more, the staff had the audacity to tell us that we couldn't get refills until we finished the leftover crust. This is not only ridiculous but also a clear indication of your staff's lack of training and customer-centric approach.

The manager's behavior was the final nail in the coffin. Her repetitive and unapologetic stance on the leftover crust issue, coupled with her decision to take new orders mid-conversation with us, showcased her complete disregard for customer satisfaction.

Delicious Pizza and Great Service

I recently dined at Pizza Hut, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The restaurant had a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a casual dinner with friends or family.

Now, onto the pizza! I ordered the Supreme Pizza, and it exceeded my expectations. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and delightfully soft on the inside. The combination of toppings, from the savory sausage to the fresh veggies, created a burst of flavors with every bite. It was a true treat for my taste buds.

What stood out even more was the exceptional service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure our drinks were never empty. They also accommodated a special request for a customized pizza without any hesitation.
