Smoor Chocolates — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Had a very bad experience with smoor choc stall at express avenue, chennai.. Had bought a pk of smoor hazelnut chocolate pk in december 2021,had a sour spoilt taste in almost all the hazelnuts, so raised a complaint regarding the same to their mail id.. Immediately rcvd a call in one day from the head of ths in Bangalore, they promised me that they would send me a replacement.. Even though i insisted that i just wanna raise a complaint and dint xpct any thing else, the lady called me up around 3-4times and said that she would send the replacement pk thro her person and am yet tp rciv it.. Visited Express Mall yesterday and was looking for a cake shop. A few names came up and one of them was Smoor. I was anxious about choosing to pick up cake from them, given the reviews I read. However, the smiling face of Mr. Neelakantan and his confidence in his product, despite my awkward questions about his poor reviews, convinced me. Big fan of Smoor in Bangalore and their hot chocolate is something I have ordered countless times. But their Chennai outlet doesn’t compare as well and is priced higher in comparison. Also, they don’t have hot chocolate or beverages (at least not yet).

The cheesecake lacked the freshness, while some of the macaroons and chocolate we tried tasted good.
