Pizza Hut | Express Avenue, Chennai — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

The legacy and their well established name would be likely to go down when i saw a few things while i was waiting for my order. Food industry is one of the most delicate industries where, ONE MUST NOT COMPROMISE WITH QUALITY AND HYGIENE. It was very shocking and disappointed to see a few practices that were followed by this branch of Pizza Hut. The preparation person, was literally recycling the gloves by washing it with soap and not drying the hands off before touching the food. That person used their phone with their gloves on and was literally plugging it for charging. The other person, who was incharge of taking out the food from the oven, did not use any gloves at all. That person was literally touching the food, scratching their head and the worse part was that, he was using his phone as well. This made me feel disgusted and disturbed to even eat the food which i had ordered. Hygiene protocols were down the drain there. Local vendors are using gloves to serve food or if not wearing gloves, they atleast ensure that their hands are clean and do not touch anything else besides the food. Pizza hut's pizza base is the Most soft and spongiest pizza base you ever get from any of pizza outlets. But the thing is it's a bit pricier too compared to others. Talking about this particular pizza Hut outlet, it is very small with just 8 four seater tables and it is hard to get a seat. The waiter itself suggest you to order a take away and eat it in the food court area. They also doesn't promote the price saver options like other pizza Hut outlets which makes you shell out even more money. I also felt that The toppings on the pizza were very less compared to my previous experience with pizza Hut pizzas in other outlets. It was not also cheezier. There was a promotion in the bill folder for ₹100 cash back when you use paytm but there were no signs of they accept it and moreover our phone becomes dead as soon as you enter the restaurant so no point in arguing over it anyway. Even if you give exception that this outlet is a part of a mall which we cannot compare it with any other stand alone outlets, the outlet in forum mall seems much better than this. Hi , Iam utterly disappointed with the way you guys treat your loyal customers. On dec 1st , I had placed an order from the pizza hut website for a takeaway in Express Avenue-Chennai location. I waited for a hour and then when I went to the location, i was informed that they never got my order. He apparently told me that their outlet do not take online orders. Thats ridiculous, then why did you have the option on your official website ? Anyways, So then I called on the customer care. A guy spoke with the person in the outlet and apologized for the issue. He told me , I'll get my refund in about 3 days. Ever since then , I've been calling everyday but of no use. They say I'll get a call back, which i never got. Is this the way you treat your customers? The status is still the same order is confirmed. This is utterly senseless. Can you please get this issue resolved?
