I recently dined at Thambi Annan’s Briyani and was impressed by the overall experience. The dishes are superb, living up to the restaurant's reputation. The star of the menu, undoubtedly, is their briyani. It's rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, making it a must-try for any briyani enthusiast.
The pepper chicken is another standout dish. It's seasoned perfectly, with a nice balance of spices that provide a delightful kick without overwhelming the palate. The tenderness of the chicken combined with the robust flavors makes it a highlight of the meal.
However, the omelette was a bit of a letdown. It was too simple and lacked the expected flair and seasoning. While it wasn’t bad, it certainly didn't match the excellence of the other dishes.
The ambience of Thambi Annan’s Briyani is warm and inviting, providing a comfortable setting for a relaxed meal. The service is prompt and courteous, enhancing the dining experience.
Overall, Thambi Annan’s Briyani offers an excellent selection of dishes, particularly their briyani and pepper chicken. While the omelette could use some improvement, the restaurant is well worth a visit for its other...

Read moreThe food is not good. It's just average. I ordered chicken biryani and there were only two small pieces of chicken. They don't give leg piece with chicken biryani as the pieces are small and that too only two pieces in a biryani and if you are lucky you will get 3 small pieces of chicken. The chicken in the biryani doesn't have any flavour of the biryani as it's just boiled chicken that's given with the biryani. I also ordered talakari fry and even it had only a few pieces. Usually in most restaurants in Tamilnadu they give 12-25 pieces of goat talakari 🐐 but here only around 6-7 prices were there. I felt that the price is expensive when you compare with the quality and quantity of food served. The service was good. We also ordered paneer butter masala again the paneer peices were very few in number. Over all this is a restaurant which is expensive and serves small quantity of food at the taste is just ok. The smell of the briyani was good but there was no...
